Travelling with taxi made fast and effortless. Taksini is the easiest way to get and ride a taxi – whenever and however you want.
The Taksini app makes your taxi rides snappy, easy and effortless. Take a taxi without waiting in a line, track your order in real time and pay comfortably right in the app. All your travelled routes, finished rides and receipts are in the app.
You are always able to choose the best suited car out of Router Group's 1 500 cabs, from classy sedans to more spacious options. Taksini works in 24 municipalities in Finland, including the whole metropolitan area.
How to use the Taksini app:
Download the app
Download the free Taksini app, create a user account with just a few swipes, and you’re ready to order your first taxi ride.
Choose pickup point
You can set your current location as the pickup point or type in the address you want. Your pickup point and an estimated arrival time are showed on the map.
Choose pickup time
You can order a taxi for a pickup right away or for later. The app makes pre-ordering smooth and easy, ensuring a ride for any moment in time you wish.
Pick a car
You can choose the best car model for each situation, from sedans to station wagons and vans. You will always find the most suitable ride from Router Group’s vast range of 1 500 cars.
Pay effortlessly
With Taksini you can pay the ride comfortably right in the app. You can add your own credit cards to your profile, and when paying with the app you will always get the receipts sent straight to your email.
Travel comfy
You’ll get a notification when your taxi is approaching the pickup point. You can just hop get in and enjoy the ride. If you have typed your destination in, you can follow your trip in real time through the whole ride.

Bad app
The only other review from the beginning of the year indicates the bug that prevents entry of foreign mobile numbers is known to the company, but several months later they still haven’t fixed it or changed the description to warn people. Very poor app development. Wish I had taken a Taksi Helsinki from the airport instead.
Doesn't accept international mobile number for registration
It puts (0) before the mobile number and then tells that mobile number is invalid. Maybe the app is not designed to be used by international travellers. But that fact is not mentioned in the app description.
