Meaning -- Everyone starts out PRIVATE, but as you begin exchanging messages, you'll gradually discover who's truly there! Utilize TALk or NOT to make friends, find dates, explore matches and start random conversations with strangers!
How it Works:
Simplicity First:
Craft your profile effortlessly, featuring only a username, location, gender, and your desired connection type. This is all that's visible!
Find Friends & Singles:
Maximize your dating prospects by enabling location services, granting you the ability to explore potential friends & singles in your area. Stay up-to-date with incoming chat messages through push notifications. You can search "Friends" for general conversations or select "Male" or "Female" and even non-binary options for a more specific search.
Simple User Exploration:
Meet new people by browsing, filtering and searching users by age, gender, or potential location. The idea is to message and talk via chat to users to eventually unlock connections.
Anonymous Chat Messaging:
Initiate anonymous chat conversations effortlessly by tapping on a profile and selecting "Talk." Enjoy the ability to anonymously start and exchange private chat messages discreetly with others.
Unveil Your Identity Gradually:

As an OG in the “revealing user photos piece by piece only when a conversation is mutually exchanged” space (direct quote from 2015) were back to finish what we started! Connect friends, daters, and matches through conversations, mystery, privacy and chat — all in one app.
This update includes some tuneups and touchups.

Definitely a fun way to get to know someone
This is such a great idea for a dating app. I was getting tired of continuously swiping but Talk or Not lets things slow down and take the time to get to know someone before judging a book by its cover. I hope it takes off and many more people sign up.
Fun and exciting!
Came across Talk or Not and wasn’t sure what to expect but after signing up and sending a few messages i can say the appeal! If you like privacy it’s great but also if you just want to message or meet people. Still pretty fresh so i hope more people sign up.
Great concept and secure
This is an original and cool concept for an app! I'm glad the developers take our privacy seriously. Looking forward to using this app more often in the future. Keep the great updates coming :)
