Super engaging and helpful!

I’m currently learning Mandarin. I love how TalkHere goes beyond basic memorization skills and presents lessons so you feel like you’re learning how people talk in real life. The lessons aren’t just vocab drills—they introduce dialogues where you can observe the words used in context conversationally, even before you’ve learned the full sentences. It exposes you to native dialogue, keeping things interesting and making the language click faster.

You can also get instant feedback on how you say phrases during each lesson which is great. And the AI chat tool is super useful for practicing without pressure— it feels low-stakes while still being super effective!

Overall, it’s way more engaging than other apps I’ve tried. This app has been really helpful, immersive, practical, and motivating! Definitely worth it if you’re serious about learning and want it to feel fun and natural~

Great App for Learning Japanese

I’m learning Japanese and this app has been engaging and helpful for that cause, especially the read aloud short stories and kanji writing feature. Having stories read at a faster pace than I can currently read helps me to read faster, and upgrade my listening skills. I also really appreciate how the lessons break down the meanings of certain phrases like 元気ですか or おはようございます. Understanding is a much faster process to learn than just memorizing for me. Listening to songs is also an amazing idea and feature that I haven’t seen on any other app.

The only thing I wish is that the interface was a bit neater (though I don’t care that much) and that the kanji was grouped or sorted so that I could practice specific ones / look for a group of specific vocabulary (like cooking terms or N5 level kanji).
