The XtremeMac Tango TRX app seamlessly integrates with your Tango TRX hardware and allows for enhanced functionality.
Use your Tango TRX app to wirelessly control your unit from your iPod touch, iPhone or iPad. This app allows you to navigate iPod controls with album artwork as you would on your device. It also gives you a direct replica of the full function remote for controlling track, volume, power, bass and treble right from your device.
The Tango TRX app also allows you to customize your listening experience with a five band equalizer with music genre presets - pop, rock, rap, jazz or flat. And for you audiophiles, you can customize the EQ right on screen with a simple slide of a finger.

Was great until iOS8, now doesn't work at all
I'm really sad to discover that there is no comparability with iPhone 6. I loved the sound, it was awesome. Bought from the Mac store, came highly recommended for the price. Now that everyone in my family has an iPhone 5s or higher, we're out a very nice kitchen (heck, house) stereo. I really really hope they plan to issue an update. It makes me disappointed and afraid to buy from them again because I don't want to waste good money on a perfectly great product that just isn't comparable with my software update. Bummed...
ONE MAJOR FLAW
The major flaw of this app is... WHERE IS THE ON/ OFF SWITCH? I stream the music from my iPhone and would like to able to turn on the unit without having to get to the physical remote or item itself. App works great otherwise. I love my Tango TRX, no problems with the bluetooth connection at all, even from another room. Sound is awesome with amazing deep base for a little unit like that. App will get 5 stars if at least I can turn on the unit from my phone too. I understand that that might not be possible until the bluetooth on the unit itself is turned on but then that is another flaw, of the unit itself then, that could and should be fixed. 5 stars for both item and app then!
Great App
The app works fantastic with the speaker the remote and compatibility Bluetooth connection is great but the app developer needs to make an update to iOS 11 or later because I make compatible with iOS 11 because I cannot open the app at all anymore I have to use the physical remote or the speaker controllers itself which really isn’t my choice but other than that the speaker itself sounds and is amazing and the app works great.
