TapeKit・Lab of Top Widgets・GIF 9+

I just re-did my whole homescreen and was using this app. It worked fine at first, and I was able to have 2 widgets on the same page. Then, I tried to change the background of one of the widgets (to match my screen), and then it changed both widgets to the same one. Is there a way to fix this? Now I can only have one of the widgets, unless I want 2 of them

Edit: I just realized - I’m stupid. Fantastic app, you can press hold on the widgets, press “edit widget” and choose one from your saved

Edit 2: Also, the “edit widget” part is just an IOS flaw, or at least it seems like. I have a suggestion, though: you guys should add Giphy gifs and stickers instead of just tenor. They have a wide variety of gifs, and I have favorites from discord that I would love to put on my home screen.

Nice!! Probably one of the best widget apps I’ve downloaded, offers a wide range of gif widgets you can choose from, you can even use your own gifs too ^^ All the free stuff is stuff you have to pay for on other apps, that’s why this is my favorite widget app :3 practically everything’s free.

The only problem I do have, is that the gif widgets freeze up for like 15-30 seconds, though it might just be my phone.

Regarding the GIF widgets freezing—this might happen with heavier widgets, especially those in HD or with longer durations, as they require more system resources. If you’re using multiple animated widgets at once, it could slow things down a bit. We're working on optimizing this, and in the future, we’ll mark high-resource widgets so users can manage them more easily.

The whole reason I got this app was for giphy widgets and because I saw everybody doing them for free. they are in fact not free at all, or maybe they used to be i don’t know. I ended up tapping the media option which allows gifs/videos at 1 fps.

i’m not too picky though so when I figured out you can do that I was still fairly satisfied, especially since idk of any other widget app that allows moving pictures, so this app is unique nonetheless. I am just slightly disappointed that it can’t go a little faster.

Thank you for your feedback! System limits us to play widgets at 1 fps maximum. It's made to save battery lifetime. So there are not much we can do here. That's why there is a GIF frame picker in the app, so you can choose frames that looks good. We are constantly working on making app simpler to use and more stable. We really appreciate your feedback!
