Good Stepmania player, needs a few fixes

While looking for a way to play simfiles on the road, I found this. It works pretty well, although there are a few bugs that need to be fixed or a few design improvements. First, importing custom songs through a website works, but it can be a bit clunky at times. It would be great if we could also manage simfiles through the Files app, because there's been a time where a zip file would be imported incorrectly and caused the game to crash on startup, forcing me to reinstall the game. Second, adjusting the offset is a little weird because the value doesn't use the millisecond format that is seen in most other rhythm games. This means that I've tried to change the offset to 100ms and it ended up being a lot higher than that, which would make the notes appear 2 minutes after they were supposed to and I was unable to change it back. This also required a reinstallation. The other issues I have are just small nitpicks and polishes: song previews can sometimes overlap each other or skip like a CD, adding a pause button would be useful, tapping a lane causes the next note in that lane to disappear even if that note is really far away, shock notes aren't implemented, a no-fail mode would be nice, and the app causes my phone to quickly heat up. This is still a great simfile player and I would recommend this to anyone looking for a DDR phone app, but fixing these small problems would make the app even better than it already is.

Good but some improvements shall be needed

Over all this ddr game is pretty good but some songs need more than 2 notes simultaneously to play and thats kinda awkward playing on the phone and i dont have a controller that connects to my phone to fix this the option to change where the buttons are is nice but i can't find one that i can play comfortably with 4 fingers.

Finally

There is a proper DDR-based game on the iOS store. That said, it can be improved.
1. It only properly works on a fast phone, like an iphone 8 or better. Maybe try to optimize a bit?
2. It is not forgiving enough of mistakes and you die after 4 missed steps :(
3. Most importantly, let us pay to not see ads. I'll pay a monthly subscription, I'll buy the app, I'll beg, but get rid of those annoying ads my god.

Thanks for the feedback!

The game used to work reasonably well on the first iPhone 10 years ago so I’m not sure what you mean it doesn’t work well now.
I will look into making getting rid of ads a thing. Many people seem to want that.
