Do Not Sell My Personal Information
For mobile platforms that require explicit, opt-in consent to link or track user or device data, Target does not link or track user or device data collected from Target application(s) with user or device data collected from other companies’ applications, websites or offline properties for targeted advertising or advertising measurement purposes. However, if a guest provides explicit, opt-in consent to the linking and use of data with a specifically identified third party partner, such data may be linked and may be used by Target and/or the third party partner as described at the time consent is obtained, including for targeted advertising or advertising measurement purposes.
Several small improvements and bug fixes.
Ratings and Reviews
From flatscreen TVs to patio furniture, from motor oil to Minecraft hoodies, chances are Target has what you’re looking for. We use this intuitive app to snag that one item we need or browse popular deals in our favorite categories. Target can deliver items to your door or get them ready for pickup at your nearest Target store, and Apple Pay support means fast, hassle-free checkout. You might consider buying a nice rocking chair to sit in while telling kids how hard shopping was back in the old days.
App became worthless with shipt
I LOVED The Target app up until recently. They now offer almost every item ONLY for shipt and not for regular shipping. I don't want a personal shopper, I would rather pay shipping, but that's not an option. And you need to tip your personal shopper which I think they should have a standard price you pay for the service so everyone is happy. Customers can know how much they will be charged that is fair and consistent and shipt employees will know they are getting paid fairly as well. I HATE the ambiguity of tipping! I fully believe workers of every kind in every profession should be paid fairly, but tipping is inherently ambiguous! It leaves so many options available that may be very unfair across the board. Like one person may tip $50 and one tip nothing, and the customer who wants to pay fairly may have no idea what a fair tip is. And if some don't tip then those that do feel more burden to make up for those who don't. The whole system is a mess! I won't use it at all. And I was doing most of my shopping at Target, but I will not support ambiguous business practices. If target changes it to where there are set prices that don't involve the mess that tipping is, then I'll use this app again. But for now I'm shopping elsewhere.
Wow I truly luv shopping at Target. I get most of my things from there and even their furniture has been pretty decent. Their app however… does not provide the same type of service level apparently. Just learned shopping for same day delivery, though truly grateful for it, isn’t as beneficial as I thought. The app makes me choose a store to shop from, yet apparently when I put order through, the shopper goes to the Target in “my zone”. Never knew that until I had the need to actually cancel an order midway being shopped for bc although on my end it had said items were all in stock, yet when shopper went she wasn’t finding anything. As it turns out she had gone to a different Target than from where I put my order through which is why the items were not available. I have two Target closest to me and it is from where I shop in person and could be a service Shipt provides services from. No wonder the shoppers have had difficult finding some items; but it hasn’t been to point where I had to cancel order midway bc NOTHING was being found, until this last time. Target says Shipt dispatches the shoppers, Shipt says Target has placed a “zone “ on the account. So basically I can only order from one Target even though the other one may have the items I need. That’s not worth me paying $99 a year for if the service will not be provided in full and I am limited to one Target store. I then as the customer am not able to truly shop for items needed.
