Description
The Task Agent mobile app is designed for utility field inspectors to collect asset attribute data on-the-go. Attributes including pole age, height, ground clearance, attachments, and more. Field technicians create, edit, and view tasks on a map.
App features:
• Supports iOS 10.0 and above
• Captures utility pole details and surrounding conditions
• Manages field tasks and work progress
• Utilizes map-enhanced searches
• Stores pole information and documents for remaining poles to audit, and saves project changes
• Users can work offline on downloaded tasks and synchronize locally-saved changes when a network connection becomes available
• Photos can be added to any task from a digital camera or photo library
Alden recommends that users sync locally-saved changes with the Alden server prior to upgrading to the latest version of the Task Agent app.
What’s New
Version 1.50
Enhancements:
1. Added SSO to the application for those companies that use SSO in Alden One.
2. Users copy list is maintained when the app is upgraded from the store.
3. Adjust cluster opacity based on the number of points in a cluster.
4. There is a new layers icon the map. this allows users to select any layer they have permission to. Previously the Zip Code layer was in settings; now it is on the map.
5. There is a new setting to allow users to change the filter behavior. When “Filter results in alphabetical order” is on, the filter results will display alphabetically making it easier to find a particular Business Location or Project Code. When the switch is off, the filter results will display as they did previously, with the most result set first, followed by the second most result set, etc.
Bug fixes:
1. Previously when the user selected a default project, the filter did not check the default project, but the code used the default project when searching. With this release, the default project is checked in the filter. If the user removes the default project in the settings section, then the filter will no longer display a check mark for any projects.
2. Copy properties was not working correctly. It copied everything instead of the configured properties. Fixed in this release.
