Task Office: to-do, calendar 4+

I do wish they would link the tasks to the projects. Right now I have to type in ever task(project) just so I know what project that task is associated with. The other downfall is the calendar. When you set a date of completion for a project or task it doesn’t show up in the calendar. So basically all organization is in you and it takes a lot of time to input because they don’t automatically link.

Thanks for your feedback. We are glad you liked our app. To link tasks to projects, you need to open Project info and click "Add tasks" button. In Tasks window you can choose any of available tasks to attach to project. As for the Calendar and task showing up in Calendar, there are Preferences to set up calendar sync period - 3, 6 or 12 months. Depending on the option selected Task Office will show up tasks in chosen period before and after today.

I have been using Task Office for about a week. To be honest, I thought this program was an answer to my prayers. The layout was pretty intuitive, it was available on iPhone and iPad. It was scheduled to be released to the Macbook but that hasn’t happened as of his review. The app allowed me to quickly save notes and organize them by project, category, priority etc. Unfortunately, by the end of day 2, I had a sneaking suspicion I was messing tasks. This morning at 3 am I couldn’t sleep so I actually mapped out some pretty awesome ideas. I had 11 tasks before I started at 22 to done by 4 am. Satisfied, I went to sleep. I woke up a few hours later went to work and picked up editing on my 22 plus tasks. A few minutes after a meeting this afternoon, I was walking back to my office and wanted to check some tasks off only to find I was down to 8. I can only theorize that maybe the syncing between my iPhone and he iPad are wiping each other out but anyway it goes, the task manager meant to help you remember tasks is forgetful. I can not recommend this app in its current state.

Wish I could export tasks to do as pdf or txt to printer or file system. Also wish completed projects, events and tasks could be time stamped and exportable as txt, html, pdf or csv. I would pay extra for that. That way this app could act as a log book which is very important to my business. Otherwise this is very useful and helps with productivity.
