LOVE IT BUT FIX IT😡

Love the app. Needs fixed. LUCKI who is a very notorious rapper in 2022 is BROKEN 😞 his songs are selectable but he appears as a different artist. AND I CANT ADD HIM TO MY FAVORITES😡 I know he has a lean belly guys his net worth is probably 4$ because of lean but please add him🥺🥺🥺 ALSO DEVS one of my absolute favorite things about OkCupid was the QUESTIONS. Every time I try to answer the questions it crashes on my newly updated iPhone (THAT APPLE FORCED ME TO UPDATE🤬). Sooooo please fix that I would love to answer questions & I’m sure many others also would. If you fixed questions & Lucki, I’d buy a premium version of this app because that’s how much I like it. & I NEVER DO THAT I’m broke. If you guys fix this I will personally donate money. satoshis. Edit: DARN😑 now that I look the last bug fixes were 2 years ago😭come on guys tons of people still use this app give it to another team or something but for the love of God SOMEBODY update it. Edit 2: I see there may be a website? Navigating there now. I’m sure that gets updates. Might explain why almost every girl on your app is stuck in 2010🤦‍♂️

My favorite dating app by far - but not quite perfect yet!

Music taste is extremely important to me, so I'm so glad this app exists. I really enjoy it, but there are a few bugs here and there that prevent the five star rating. For some reason, when I try to set the song that plays on my profile, nothing comes up when I search, so I have to choose between 20 or so songs randomly generated based on my favorite artists, and I have to keep opening and closing the screen until I see a song I like. Please fix the search bar. Also, I'd like to be able to manually set the order in which each artist appears on my profile, as some are more important to me than others. Also I should be able to move my photos around and switch their order. Right now you can only push one to the front. Also, the ability to favorite certain profiles for future reference would be nice. Otherwise, this is an amazing app! Thanks!

One’s musical tastes tells you a lot about a person

Welcome to the only app that values tastes above income or looks. And a great concept, I love it! Honestly I think the people on here (men) are the realest I’ve seen on any dating app. Maybe it’s because people don’t mess around when it comes to their music, I don’t. I’ve only been on taste buds for a little bit but I think it’s easy to use, every musical artist I’ve searched is on there. Anyone can like or comment on your photos whether you like them or not, and the profile format is interesting and fun (you can choose from cute pre-made captions). Comments are in place of messages, which I like, and are directed toward a photo you post making small talk easier to avoid (hate small talk). Also I tend to get along best with artists/musicians & the like so this seems promising.

Finally, a dating app that gets it right!

I can't say enough good things about tastebuds. Whether you're just a music head looking for new tunes / concert buddy, or for dating, Tastebuds has got you covered. The app and web platforms are both great and super easy to navigate. The search features are excellent, but the matches offered up automatically based on tastes has been enjoyable as well.
I look forward to the Tastebuds community growing larger to edge out crappy dating sites like OKcupid 😂 The community seems a little small when you're looking for people in your immediate area, I guess that may just depend on how niche your music tastes are though.

Great concept, but the website is better

I really love the idea behind this app, but you seem to be able to navigate better on the website. So, it would be great if they added more features to the app, like adding notifications and actually making it easier to match. I’ve never gotten that page saying I’ve matched with someone. I cannot stress enough that they need to fix the matching system! I’m only able to find people that have been online recently by going onto the webpage which can be a bit frustrating having to go back and forth... please, please, please include an algorithm in the matching system that excludes people who haven’t been online recently! That or have the accounts deactivated after a certain period of time! Another thing would be great to include better search filters! I would so love to keep this app, but it’s almost useless compared to the website...

Accessible with Voiceover. Great idea, in theory.

A dating app that is accessible with Voiceover for the blind is hard to find. The big ones out there are all based on photos, which does me no good whatsoever. But the concept of this one works. At least, in theory. The problem that I have is twofold. First, I cannot see the mute button for the music that’s playing from someone’s profile. Voiceover doesn’t read it. Second, I have no idea how long these people have been on or offline that I’m sending messages and Likes to. Does the message disappear into the ether and someone may or may not read it? If there were a way to sort by who was online most recently, maybe that would help. So far, Voiceover hasn’t shown me anything. I’m a musicologist and music historian, so this is all right up my alley. Now if only I can find others who are stuck in the same alley.

Great concept, needs improvements

This app is a great idea and has a good visual feel. The concept of finding musically like-minded people is wonderful. However, it looks like this app has a lot to work on including, but not limited to, distance settings, search tools, and match notifications/list. Currently, I have had no notifications that anyone has liked me period, let alone liked me back or matched. Why is there a heart/like option if you're never matched with anyone?? A few messages have been exchanged; although, nothing meaningful. The 'tuning into' people I've been getting lately have been all over the map but mostly international; there is no way to limit to a local area. This app has a lot of potential, but after 2 weeks, it's sadly been mostly pointless to me. Maybe I'll give it another try in a few months to see if any improvements have been made.

Good... but shoots itself in the foot

It’s a great idea to connect people through their love of music. Yet this app falls short of good in a few areas. For example, the new app just gathers all the sections of the former app and puts them into one long stream of text, lacking headings or any other resemblance of a person’s original profile. As another example, the app has this nasty habit of letting you know, *after* you have typed this long, thought out message to someone, that the recipient does not accept messages from people in your demographics; it would have been nice to know this beforehand. Again, great idea to connect people through music, but the app’s UI (more like the app’s MVC) needs improving! When the mechanics don’t work, the end result is not easily achieved.

Must have for music lovers

Greatly caters to music lovers. I, for one, have been having fun just listening to music there. This app's a great way to discover other artists that you'll very likely love. It's because it's through others that we discover music. You see one liking the beatles and hozier (same as you, for example), and eventually listing out the very same artists that you like. Like, there's a pattern to it. Then eventually, you fall inlove with them, because of having the very same tastes. I try to find peeps with the same tastes as mine, and beg for their playlist. All of this, while chilling with great music.

Where have you been all my life?

This is a dream app, I can’t believe it exist, very impressed, as music is so important to me and seeing guys placing their vibe taste in music it only gives them more appeal.
When someone shares a song with you with a written message with it, that is such a cool feature to have in your hands, it makes you feel like you’re really connecting with the person, music enters the soul and suddenly you feel like you’ve found your soulmate. I’d rather have this then someone starting a conversation with then same old ‘how are you’. This is revolution of social media and dating. THANK YOU!
