Description
DJ technology is my passion. I created Tau to provide a sophisticated alternative to Serato, Rekordbox, Virtual DJ, Djay, and others.
Tau features everything you expect: 2 or 4 decks, master tempo, waveforms, MIDI, and DVS, to name a few. Its advanced technology provides a unique, boutique DJ experience.

- The fourth color FX (CFX) mode, WNS, has been replaced by E-W (Echo - White Noise). The right side of the knob still controls white noise, while the left side now applies an echo effect with increasing decay and intensity. The beat length shifts from 0.75 to 0.5 around the 9 o’clock position, and at the far-left end, the original sound is cut off ("echo out").
- Increased bass cut when using C-B (crossfader-attached bass EQ).
- Double-tapping any EQ at the center position resets it to the minimum.
- Reloop Mixtour Pro mapping created by @Majesty2434
- Set "Played Lookback Hours" to 0 to disable played track highlighting.
Ratings and Reviews
Too many bugs...
To be fair, the creator has a Discord acct set up for chats about issues and bugs. And I believe he is trying to fix them. But as of right now, the platform is unusable. Too many display issues. Library search malfunctions more than it works. The wave forms often do not display correctly. Beatgrids are not displaying on the beat. Too bad DJPP is already discontinued. That was a great platform by the same creator, but this one is def not ready for public consumption. It is not reliable for DJing. Hopefully that will change soon. 🤞🏼
