Who are We and What is our Mission?

We are TEDDY and our mission is to give dog owners the resources they need to support a healthy, happy, and well-balanced life with their fur family members.

Our goal is to engage, train, and save because it's our business to create a win-win situation for dogs and humans.

We're also in the business of saving dogs. At TEDDY, we believe that preemptive education and training tools will help prevent dogs from being rehomed, abandoned, or euthanized.
Dogs and humans have been companions for thousands of years. We deserve to make each other happy. Yet, in the US alone, 3.3 million are surrendered annually by their humans due issues with landlords, financial hardship or a mismatch of breed and living situation.

We are here to educate and help humans to make the right decision before and during dog ownership. Icing on the cake:
While using our app, we donate to dogs in need.

At TEDDY we only use LIMA Principles; the least intrusive and minimally aversive training methods. Our goal is to transform dog owners into their dog's favorite trainer, using a reward-based system that includes praise, play, treats, and toys.

Hi, I’m Ela. Founder and HEad Trainer at TEDDY. After years of experience working 1-1 with clients and getting involved in dog welfare, my mission became clear. At TEDDY, we believe that preemptive education and training resources should be readily accessible and affordable to all dog owners. My experience as a dog trainer and animal behaviorist showed me that dogs deserve to have owners who feel empowered and not overwhelmed because people need dogs, and dogs need people.
We believe that our app will increase dog retention rates in forever homes and make life even better for dogs and their humans. That's a vision we believe is worth making a reality.
