Teddy’s University Misinformation / App Fail

My girlfriend and I were not happy with our experience at Teddy’s University in Honolulu, HI. We were told the old points program had been discontinued and replaced with this app. We were also told that if we downloaded the app we could transfer prior points over but that feature wasn’t working or isn’t available yet. We were rushed through our order and then told that our $5 first visit reward could not be applied. Also my points for the purchase were not applied to the app. One of the soda machines was not working and it’s been that way for months. It’s the only side that has Dr. Pepper which is my preferred beverage. I hope these issues are resolved soon because we usually enjoy our visits to Teddy’s but this one was not enjoyable due in part to this new app.

Look, I don’t care what you think about those “mainland” franchise guys, with their in and out or whatever burgers. You came to Teddy’s. If this doesn’t reset your standards on what it means to have a burger, we cannot, CANNOT be friends. Short of having a burger here with added heat/fire/hot sauce, I have enjoyed EVERY burger they have on the menu. Don’t forget to try a shake if your at the right location. Cheeeeeeee-hooooooooo!!!

Worst performing restaurant app I’ve ever used

In the time it takes me to order food for pickup through the Teddy’s mobile app, I can drive to the nearest location a mile away, order in person, and pick it up before completing the order on my phone. This app is a much more frustrating customer experience than being able to just call in an order, like I could 2 months ago.

Every time I try to view my order total, it takes atleast 5-10 attempts, to place the actual order. The app displays a disclaimer at the top of my cart that “Something went wrong, please check your desired pickup time and retry again”, although I’m unable to enter a pickup time prior to placing the actual order.
