Good app, but dislike the subscription model
This app takes high quality 360 photos, however I really dislike the move to a subscription model. Please consider adding an option for a lifetime subscription. Also, I think it would be amazing if it could also capture multiple spatial photos and stitch them together into a 3D image. Not sure how feasible that would be, but it might be worth looking into :)
Used to be the Best 360 App for iOS, but Now it’s Terrible. PLEASE BRING REMOVE WATERMARKS
I am an avid Google Maps user and after finding out how to do 360s on my iPhone, I came across this app, and there is none other like it. It was way better than HDReye since you didn’t have to pay for unlimited photos, however, ever since the latest updates, they added stupid watermarks. At first it wasn’t a problem since you had the option to remove watermarks, but now you cannot do that and it’s really stupid. I would understand if they don’t want users taking their own feet pics, but at the cost of taking away from making the whole photo looking natural and making it feel like you’re actually there. They should bring back the option to turn off watermarks. And no, not everyone can afford to pay a monthly subscription over a stupid watermark. Some of us, I included, are way too poor or we’d rather make rational decisions and choose to use money for something more useful rather than pay $7 a month for something so stupid. And did I forget to mention that you also have to pay that amount to have better quality photos as well? So if you don’t use the subscription, you have a watermark that ruins the photo, and the quality is very blurry. So basically the app is unusable without the stupid subscription. Bring back the option to remove watermarks please.
Developer Response ,
Thank you for your detailed feedback about the watermarks and quality settings. We understand your frustration, especially as someone who actively contributes to Google Maps. While we needed to adjust our pricing model to support our servers and continued development, we hear your concerns about the subscription cost. We're currently exploring ways to make our pricing more flexible for different types of users. Your feedback is valuable to us as we work to improve the app.
Takes great 360 degree pics
(Reviewing version 1.1) This app lets you take 360 degree photospheres, view them on your phone (& other devices I don’t have), and download them in a variety of ways. You take 51 pictures, upload them to their server, wait 2-3 minutes, and download the 360x180 degree pic to your phone. The viewer follows your phone as you move it, or you can scroll with your finger. Note that the 51 pics are taken in portrait orientation, and must be straight. But the app shows you which way to twist the phone if needed. I missed that early on and wondered why the target dot was turning red. Overall, this is a great app, which does the job well. Version 1.1 has room for minor improvements, but the basics are solid.
