This is the companion app for the Tempur® Sleeptracker-AI® Monitor which makes your bed a smart bed. The Sleeptracker-AI® system is the first cloud-based, non-invasive IoT sleep optimization solution powered by artificial intelligence (AI) and integrated into the smart home.

The app provides detailed daily sleep graphs and sleep metrics derived from accurately and continuously monitoring the sleeper’s respiration rate, heart rate, and movements throughout the night. Easy-to-understand sleep graphs visually distinguish between periods when you were in REM sleep, light sleep, deep sleep, or awake. The AI Sleep Coach delivers personalized tips and insights to help you improve your sleep every night.

The AI Sleep Coach, powered by the Sleeptracker-AI® Artificial Intelligence Engine, provides effective, easy-to-implement, personal sleep tips based on a comprehensive analysis of individual sleep patterns.

The Sleeptracker-AI® system monitors both respiration and heart rate accurately through the night for deeper sleep analysis, with your data displayed as easy to read charts in the app.

Optionally select white noise that gently fades away after you've fallen asleep, then set a sleep cycle alarm that will help you Wake Up at the Optimal Time™ in your sleep cycle so you wake up refreshed and more energized.

If you choose to record your sleep automatically, there’s nothing to do and nothing to wear. Optionally receive a notification in the morning when your sleep results are available and a daily email with your sleep summary and AI Coach insights.

Share your Sleeptracker-AI® sleep data to the Apple Health app.

The Sleeptracker-AI® system reports the following sleep-related statistics each night:
- REM sleep, light sleep, deep sleep, awake time
- Time at which you fell asleep and woke up
- Number of times awoken during the night
- Continuous respiration rate
- Continuous heart rate
- Sleep quality metric (scale of 0-100)
- Sleep efficiency (time spent in bed vs. total time asleep)
- Time it took you to fall asleep

This is great for monitoring how your pain affects your sleep

This bed has been invaluable when it comes to telling us what is causing our sleep issues. We found out that I isn’t the bed, it is my pain. My pain keeps me awake, and subsequently keeps my wife awake because of me. Now we must figure out what to do to fix me so I can sleep like a regular human being.

Put the remote control back where it was!

In this newest update, the remote control moved from its “always available” spot on the bottom dock to where it’s only available after going to the Home Screen. Also, I’m using it in bed, after picking it up with one hand. Why would you move the button to the top left?? Now it requires two hands as phones are too big to both hold from the bottom, while lying in bed mind you, and reach all the way to the top left corner of the screen with one hand while trying to aim for the right spot AND not drop my phone. Have a petite woman with small hands try it from a lying position. Why would you make it so I have to be more fully awake to use this? Isn’t that a bit counterintuitive? Please change it back.

Thank you for your feedback, I would be happy to let my team know you would like to see the remote moved back to the bottom bar. The remote was moved to the home page to allow easier access while in an active Sleep Recording. But I am happy to pass along your feedback.

They need to add some AI

The app gets some of the basics mostly right, such as sleep start time and wake time, heart rate, breathing rate. It often misses on awake time during the night, when a 3 minute middle of the night bathroom break shows up as 45 minutes. It also seems to confuse throat clearing or coughing with snoring, so that’s not an accurate stat. Everything seems to be driven by algorithms and doesn’t change or improve based on experience, so I don’t understand what the AI does. My suspicion is that the name SleeptrackerAI is just a marketing name they thought of to give them a futuristic sound, but it has no real AI. AI is supposed to learn and change as it gets added data and experience. I would love for the technical folks at Tempurpedic to explain this to me.
