Description
Tempus, derived from the latin word for weather as well as latin for time, so I guess now is the time for another weather app!
Tempus is a simple and minimal weather app that isn't full of unnecessary features. Tempus was built to be easy to read and easy to use.
Features include:
- Current local weather
- Celsius and Fahrenheit
- Min & Max Temp throughout the day
- Humidity, Wind Speed, and Direction
- 5 Day forecast for your area
- Weather Alert Notification
- Faster data retrieval
All of the photos are property of me and were taken with my iPhone while riding my bicycle around the Berkshires.

Clean look with simple UI
I use to have the weather app on iPhone 6 with iOS 11 and it was great but when the app updated I was overwhelmed with so much unnecessary info/ ads. I was just looking for games to play and then this app appeared as I was scrolling and saw a comment about weather app being crazy with too much info and as I read about the simplicity of tempus I had to check it out. It is exactly what I was looking for in a weather app. An improvement would be the ability to choose any background image available in a selection menu or to upload personal photos. Excellent app overall. I have a 2020 se iPhone and the images look beautiful... download it now! Lol
Simply Beautiful
This weather app is easy to use and includes the most pertinent information without being overwhelming. The photos in the app are stunning, eliciting peace and tranquility. I look forward to each new day with this weather app (regardless of the weather conditions)! Thank you for your artistry and tech-savvy creation!

Tempus replaces weather channel.
Weather channel changed their site from easy to difficult to read after many years (changed in late Feb 2020). Tempus is so clean and concise and a breeze to check. Response from Jay the owner was quick and helpful (my fault).
Big shout out to Jay for understand his customers needs.
