Tennis Manager 2024 - TOP SEED 4+

Fun and enjoyable

Overall I really do enjoy the game. I’ve had it downloaded for several years and still enjoy playing it. There are several things I’d look at tweaking. One is the points awarded for winning a tournament. Example, I play and win an MTF-500 and I get 100 points. I plans and win an Elite level event and I get 1,000 points. The 500 is one step down and there’s a 900 point difference for winning? To me, a 500 even should be worth 500 points. A 250 should get you 250 for winning, etc.

The other thing that I find annoying is my current player has won 28 majors and I’m barely #1. The player who is #2 has won 3 majors and is seemingly always #1. I understand how the rankings work, it’s pretty much like the actual ATP Tour. But it seems a bit weird that I’m typically fighting to be #1. That ties in with after the London major I’ve been #1 a few times, but on occasion #2 is 1,000 points behind. I know I’m likely going to be #2 by the time the Elite event in Montreal rolls around because I’ve got little points that can be earned while #2 earns 500 a week on occasion. All I’m saying, is let’s play under the same rules.

Outside of the points issue, which doesn’t really effect the gameplay, it’s a highly enjoyable game and as much as I like playing in the middle of a career and trying to win as many majors as possible, the training a new player is almost as fun.

Fun game, hard to be top seed, but doable

Won't take you too much time, just open it several times during the day and before sleep. The way to get money for training is to play training matches (especially those intensive ones, check it out after every round of tournament).
Getting to top 10 is not hard, hardest part is to be #1. The ranking system for you is similar to the real world ATP, but for everyone else in the list, it's not. They won't lose point if they don't do as well as the past year, only way to be #1 is to win every single tournament during the year. The maximum rating you get from training is about 90, you then need to hire bunch of staffs to boost your rating to compete against Nurray and Bolovic (LOL).

I dont get it

As someone who has played tennis my whole life i love the idea and most of the execution of this game. Im not a big fan of the in app purchases, but i can deal with it since it doesnt really shove it down you’re throat. But what i cant seem to understand is the card system in match’s, in my opinion is completely stupid. First off the tactics should be an unlimited use, it doesnt make any sense that i cant use my forehand missile even though its my characters main offensive weapon. Second match’s dont seem balanced right, in a game where i have a tennis lvl of 58 and my opponent has a tennis lvl of 42 there should be no reason for my player to lose that matchup. Third the ranking system is rough, I respect the devs for making such an accurate ranking system to the real life version. However i feel like this system has a habit of kicking me while im down. Heres an example after going on losing streak of losing first round in two 3 star tournaments i make it into the top 4 of the last tournament in the season and lose in a final set tiebreaker and drop another 15 points. Im sorry but the real pro scene is that not rough, overall the game is fun but these problems really hold the game back in my opinion. I still enjoy the game since to me this is one of the better tennis ios games to play but i would like to see a change to these problems.
