Tera is an app that empowers you to shop for food as medicine at your local grocery store by matching you with the food molecules your cells need to create health, while avoiding the foods that create disease.
With Tera you can find foods to :

• Avoid harmful food additives and toxic chemicals
• Find food high in the vitamins and minerals you are deficient in
How it works:
• Create your personal health profile
• Browse food products in the app at your local grocery store that will support your health goals, match what your biology needs and optimize your health
• Search and find products that will support a specific health goal you have or that will best optimize your health
• Add products to a store specific cart or shopping list
• Checkout and get products delivered by Instacart or Amazon
• Scan and score products in stores to make healthier choices

ONBOARDING
- Clarified our Data Privacy Policy on the onset of the onboarding process
- Clarified which fields are required on the Account creation page
- Added 3 preferences to help the AI Nutritionist (the Bot) tailor meal plan and recipes recommendations
- Selection of a daily calories goal
- Selection of a weekly food budget
- Addition of “Mediterranean Diet” to the Diet Preferences selection page
- Revamped the onboarding process by consolidating the legacy Shopping and the new Bot preferences selection upfront into one flow prior to accessing the app so the Bot can get configured to users’ preferences for their first app session after signup completion.
SHOPPING
- Automatically selects the stores active on the Instacart platform that will deliver to your address.
- These stores will have an “active” logo on the homepage.
- The stores that do not deliver to your address will have an “inactive” logo but you can still access these stores, browse them, and create shopping lists in them. They don’t have an Add To Cart button.
- The prices you will now see in the stores are the local prices tied to your delivery address area and that Instacart will charge you at checkout.
- Added a View Shopping Lists button on the shop pages to quickly access your shopping lists.
- Added a warning label “Alcohol Causes Cancer” on alcoholic beverages product pages.

Earth Friendly App
So I started slowly on deciding how much time I wanted to invest in being a better consumer. I have certain ingredients and products I really want to avoid and sometimes it’s impossible to know if you’ve succeeded in avoiding micro beads or other things. Now my concern isn’t about the amount of time I want to invest, it’s how much better can I make my buying habits. Tera Shopping really does take the “second job” of researching off my plate. And it’s easy. And free. And I love it! Keep up the great work!

Tera is the app all lazy “researchers” needed!! Before Tera I always asked my best friend for recommendations on clean products I should be using because I hate doing the research for it myself. This app has changed my life!! Makes it so easy to find a clean, environmentally friendly, low impact product with just a few simple searches where I know exactly what I’m getting and where I can buy it from. I love it!
Easy to use and great information
I made my first purchase today using this app. I didn’t really think too much about what some of the chemicals/ingredients were inside of the products. This app gave me “no-brainer” insight into what to look out for and showed options that were safer for the environment and for your health; without having to pay a ton for the product.
So far… I love it.
