Good timer/stopwatch except...
It's a nice timer/stopwatch, since Apple doesn't have a clock app. However sometimes the timer goes into negative seconds. It also would be nice if there were more features, but it is a nice simple app.
Nice and simple! Almost 5 stars...
I appreciate the simple stopwatch feature. Click to start and stop and resume. Easy! The one problem is that it only shows minutes and seconds - not hours. If you go past an hour, you have to do math to figure out exactly how much time has passed. While it does add a tiny hour marker in the corner, it doesn’t reset the minutes. For instance: If 1 hour and 15 minutes has passed, I would expect the stopwatch to show 1:15:00. Instead, it will show a tiny 1 in the corner, and the watch portion will show 75:00. That’s right. 75 minutes. While I’d love to keep using this app, I really need one that separates hours and minutes, so I will be trying to find another.
Wasn’t what I was hoping for, not all that user-friendly
I’m trying to find an app that I can use to create multiple foreground-floating countdown timers that have labels, and which I can start/stop. This app didn’t work for that purpose, which may not have been its intent, however, I’m not clear on the point of being able to create multiple, different-colored countdowns if they *can’t* float in the foreground — otherwise, you can’t see them while doing other work.
• The windows can’t be made any smaller than about 1/9th of a 13” screen (although, since they don’t float it doesn’t much matter if they can’t be small)
• The time can’t be set by typing, only by clicking up/down buttons, so if you want to set a timer for 8 hours and 30 minutes, you can’t just type 08:30:00, but instead have to click-click-click-click
• The only way to set the color for a timer is by using the Menus
