Description
In this app, you choose from a variety of tessellation shapes such as triangle and square. You begin with that basic shape. You then get to change the shape by "drawing" with your finger. It's less like painting and more like drawing with a ruler. (Or, if you like, it's less like pixel drawing and more like vector drawing.) Of course, you do not have complete freedom to draw whatever shape you want because the shape must tessellate. The app does an excellent job of maintaining the tessellation as you draw. You also have control over the colors. It's really quite entertaining.
What’s New

Ratings and Reviews
Good start, needs more to be great
This app does tesselate! It provides a selection of existing shapes (square, triangle, etc.), and wherever you touch and drag within the corners of those shapes, the app responds by creating a live tessellation (and also shows the repeating pattern in the background). Very nice to see the pattern immediately!
Now, this could become cooler and way more useful (not to mention educational) in the following ways:
(1) allow the end points (say the peak of the triangle) to move. Right now the shape’s points are pretty much fixed in spot, despite all the changes you can make elsewhere. I would call this the “edit” button
(2) an undo/redo option would be nice for quick test runs
(3) create a “curves” button where you press, hold, and drag to introduce a bend in your line. Groovy.
Very good app, needs better description
The main problem with this app is that it is not well described here in the App Store. From the description, it is not entirely clear what this app does. Some more example shots would help this problem.
Let me see if I can describe it.
The main improvement I would request is an "undo" button. It's too easy to add a new corner unintentionally, and without an undo button the unwanted corner is difficult to deal with.
Overall, it's really a very good app. Kudos!
Damnit
I bought this app thinking it makes tessellations out of your photos.. It doesn't. The description doesn't explain anything. This really just is a app to play with shapes and solid colors. More pics would be helpful, but then again look at me I bought it lol
