TextShot Pro lets you easily send SMS* and iMessages to groups of friends or colleagues. Messages are sent directly from the app with a single tap of the TextShot logo on the title page.
Save typing by choosing from your own preset messages (such as “I’m running late. I’ll be there as soon as I can”, or “I’ll be there in ten minutes”) You can edit the message before it is sent.
From the creators of the popular "MailShot" group email app, TextGroup features all the same methods to quickly create groups from your contacts.
• Create message groups by adding contacts from your address book
• Create your own message presets, for rapid re-use.
• Add multiple contacts quickly using a checklist, or add entire address book groups.
• You can also add contacts manually, bypassing your address book
• NEW Import from a list of names and numbers.
• Add email addresses (for iMessage) as well as mobile numbers.
• Replicates the look and feel of our popular “MailShot” group email app
A free version, "TextShot Lite", which limits you to 2 groups of up to 4 contacts, is also available on the App Store. It can be upgraded with an in-app purchase.
* iPhone can send both SMS and iMessages to groups. iPad can only send iMessages without assistance from an iPhone
To send to groups larger than 10, please disable the "Group Messaging" switch in the Messages page of the Settings app, if it is present. If it is not, disable the switch marked "MMS Messaging".
NOTE: TextShot is not designed to send group email (please try our "MailShot" app for that)
In 2.2: Stop constant update message
Since 2.0 : iOS13, iPhone 11, 11 Pro and Pro Max, Dark Mode and Dynamic Type support

Good Addition to iPhone
This app makes it easy to set up multiple groups, including copying a group that you already have as a starter for an expanded group(s). The only important thing missing (and this is true for their email app as well) is the ability to schedule delivery, including deliveries repeated on a certain cycle, so that you can write whenever the time is convenient, but it will be delivered whenever you schedule, making communication (especially business communication) much more efficient.
Developer Response ,
Thanks for your lovely comments.
Just to explain why we don't support delayed sending in either app... TextShot and MailShot use Apple's APIs for text and email to send directly from your device (which is great from a security perspective- as we never, ever see the contents of your messages or email). However those APIs do not support delayed sending, nor do they allow an app to wake up and send without asking the user to tap "send" at the time (even if you could resolve the problem that the device may be powered off, not currently running the app, or in a poor reception area- so you could not 100% rely on a delayed message to be sent at the time you selected, and reliability is really important)
There ARE some third party services which rely on their own email or SMS servers to do the sending, and those may allow you to send delayed messages. But that is a very different approach to the one we take.
I hope this helps to clarify.
Fix delivery fail
When you send a group text if one number is wrong it rejects the message. Is there a way to flag the number that is being rejected.
Works for message only
You send text message through the app. This works fine. In iPhone however you don’t have other functions available such as photos or images. You do have emojis. Once you send the first message you can then continue conversation in iMessage and will then have all usual capabilities.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
