Ratings and Reviews
*DEVELOPERS* REALLY HELPFUL BUT.....
This is for the developers. This is a very thorough and helpful app. I like the fact that it is easy to rate mostly and automates one through each entry, however, I am not such a fan aside from that due to not being able to edit your log (due to an accidental entry or a misunderstanding of which log one is on) as well as not being able to add multiple logs for one day or backtrack for days accidentally missed for whatever reason. We still could rate what we remember from the day before. Especially in reference to migraine and pain logs. Things change throughout the day and if you are in assessment phase with your doctor, they want to know that progression and the details of the possible triggers for that such as eat something (then migraine onset) or the duration and the portion of your brain that one experienced pain. This log only asks you once and there is nowhere for comments, medications actually taken and when, foods specifically eaten, duration or latency, if the migraine reoccurred the same day or if it was CMS type pain or something else besides an actual migraine. Overall, the perception of it is that it's asking 'generally speaking' to rate your pain and not at the moment. I like that aura is included but it doesn't include the 'type of pain' and where as most doctors when need to know (sharp, dull, pins & needles, numbness, shooting, etc.). The other thing I noticed is with the questions regarding if coffee and alcoholic beverages triggered the pain it doesn't give one the option 'n/a' for people like me that don't drink coffee or alcohol at all. This implies to the doctor that those things weren't triggers not that it could be but you wouldn't know because you haven't at that time. It also would be nice to be able to see the graphs in app so we can empower ourselves and possible see trends and change habits etc in the meantime as well as know what we are presenting to our doctors without having to email it to ourselves 1st. Most doctors won't allow email or except links due to HIPPA. I feel like this app can be helpful under certain circumstances but isn't thorough enough in terms of data doctors need to diagnose and help someone suffering from CMS or recurrent migraines. We all know it takes months of accurate data for people with this condition to even be assisted or diagnosed & its relentless. It also doesn't allow corrections or backlogging nor deletion of a log with errors or as mentioned, multiple logs for one day with a time display to show the progression of that migraine throughout that one day either. Please take this into account and if some those mentioned are things the app provides then please update the app to where it's more explanatory to your consumers so we understand how to use your product to help ourselves. From our point of view it's very rigid and seems like it's one entry per day with no account of medications taken and when, type of pain and where, narrative for events and similar data. Thank you.
Doesn’t let you register or login and the tracking tools don’t work
Not working sadly. Downloaded it. But it won’t let me login nor register. I went to the website to register just in case that was the issue. Still no go. I am up to date on my iphone’s OS updates as of this review. I am disappointed because the acpa has some nice paper-based tracking forms and I was hoping to have a digital version. That would be great. Please fix.
Useless
Won’t let you register or login, which is required to actually track pain. The website is similarly problematic—the pain tracker says you have to register to save info (even when you’re already logged into the main website) and then it won’t let you actually register. Extremely disappointing
