The BOB & TOM Show 12+

This version looks great and has added a few features but sadly it’s left out some key features of the old app. First, the app now doesn’t show up on my Apple Car play anymore. Because it doesn’t show up, I can’t control it from my radio and have to pick up the phone to start the app. Why, you may ask? Because, if for some reason the app stops broadcasting because I took out one of my AirPods, the app won’t automatically resume play like the old one did when I put reinsert the AirPod. It does the same thing when a call or text message comes in. I have to pick up the phone and manually press stop, then press play. It has actually removed the safety features that keeps your eyes in the road.
It still has the great content, but it’s not as user friendly as before.

Keep the free but start offering a little payback for those who pack for the coffee- ya know, you’re VIP’s? Love the show, keep improving- bring back some smart guests- Pat’s a good one but, remember Mark Patrick, etc? I’m sure you’ve got folks willing to grow in the trade and add some nice, new and unexpected meat to our morning cereal. Willie G is a great example.
VIP only, “jump” contests (I.e. who can finish this oldie joke from ‘88?,etc.) Lastly, Comedy I think can always be well matched with the world of strange but true. Just consider “filling out” the beast again and see what happens but please, target your VIP’s, create a “College of Bob + Tom”- start with easy “grades” and have free listeners reflect and remember on the show. Or, how about one for tomorrows listeners- have the pre-7 year olds tell a joke of the day to try to break the “panelists” into a LOL- not faked. Can be done anytime through the show till one little miracle of nature wins the prize? You’ve got a LOT OF young PARENTS listening- this would help draw them in…… maybe? Anyway, thank you and you STILL Rock!

Since my local channel took it off it’s station in 2017 this app is my only choice. My drive to work doesn’t have the best cell service. But…. The app doesn’t play unless you’re in LTE or higher except ads (shows sponsors). Every morning I have to start it twice because ya start it once it plays it’s ad (shows sponsor) then pauses after. Unless you hit play again it will not start playing the show. When you do have LTE or even WiFi it plays 3/4 of the time. I mean the show itself has gone down hill since Bob left but drastically fallen on its face since Covid. With that all said it’s still a good show though. I love listening to it. Just wish I didn’t have to use this crappy app in order to do that.

Also. You can’t blame the lower cell service cause the ESPN app plays my whole time this app won’t.
