Detroit News

Very easy to download , editorial content not one sided(liberal vs conservative), seems to be objective, who, what, when, where is news without opinions from beat writers...that is for the opinion page or editorial page not within a story

Excellent app for following Detroit newspapers

Been using this app for several years. In my opinion, it’s been perfected. Easy to use and allows sharing of articles, printing of them like recipes for example and easy resizing of content on my iPad or phone. Downloaded editions are available offline too. You can’t wrap fish in the digital editions but I find them better than the paper editions for most uses.

Getting worse and worse

Both the News and the Free Press lose a little quality every week. Almost every article has a little or a lot of political bias built in to every article. The reliance on national and international news stories and sources {i.e. Associated Press] makes the newspapers very non local and extremely biased. I doubt I will renew my digital subscription because the same stories are everywhere
