Figure out the code in this fun logic game. A phrase is given to you that is encrypted. Each letter corresponds to a different letter. In the beginning an "A" may stand for a "G." Later on down the line, you may find this is not the case. Use hints if ever you need a little help. Each hint will reveal a set of vowels within the puzzle. If you're stuck, view the letter frequencies, bigrams, and trigrams within the phrase to solve the puzzle. The Editor will have you tinkering with the letters until you get the right word, then ultimately the correct phrase. Test your logic and deduction skills along the way. I can actually work these out. The statistics of letter count and combinations makes it doable. Also there aren’t a bunch of words Ives never seen. The only problem I have,is that mentioned by another reviewer ; that you have to move to each letter. The game doesn’t automatically move to the next empty space.

Cryptograms with a twist

After being disappointed is several cryptogram apps on my iPhone , I'm thoroughly enjoying this app. The lines to translate are common phrases, but the twist is that none of the letters have a correct letter associated with it. You have to research the next page which tells you the numbers of each letter, working backward to the solution. The graphics are pretty good, but I wish that the letters shown were darker or bolder. My eyes strain to read this on my iPhone -- But I keep trying because I like that challenge. Thanks!

This game is different from other cryptogram games because it has a letter stats chart you can access in the bottom right of the game screen. Frequency and trigrams are helpful when I've gotten really stuck.Would like the selection cursor to move automatically, but very good overall.

Enjoying the game. Best cryptogram app I've found. Too many adds though. One before every puzzle. I have also noticed several mistakes where certain letters have not been replaced with different letters so can be confusing if they don't need to change.
