This was easily one of the most fun games I’ve played in a long time. I’m more used to fighting games and this was a surprisingly fun change of pace. One of my favorite parts was the way the PX-1 lights up whenever you turn it on or get a new item. The interactivity and customizability with the stickers, the on/off button, and the game cartridge itself were fun to play around with. It was the right mix of difficulty and entertainment with a fun story to follow and the old style 8bit graphics. I enjoyed how it was not impossible to do but still challenging enough to get you to use your brain to figure it out. On occasion, there would be dialogue when i’m doing something important so I missed it but it was never a problem staying with the story. Overall, I love the game, I might speedrun it for fun, and I’m going to watch the Movie.

I don't even know where to start 💔. The sound track, art, detail, game play, EVERYTHING. Was so awesome. Pure dedication put into this. This is honestly my first Netflix based game I ever played and this was such a good first impression. I love knowing how they used to live way before the Neucasters were as popular or even a thought. (Not that it showed it in the beginning of the movie but yk.) I felt connected to the game when I put my headphones on. The sound in the background, lighting, the way you had to shake your phone fix things or just the small movement of the game consoles moving with light because of your phone is oh so amazing!!! Just know that this id one of the best games i've honestly played in so long (and I been playing the same games for years!!!)

I love this game so much, learning so much about cosmo and diving more into the story of Michelle and Christopher is amazing!! I only have a few problems, I am still playing the game and I can’t figure out how to get the last artifact for the spaceship. You guys should add more life’s to cosmos character and the response time for the banana and freeze gun should be faster. this game is amazing but it shouldn’t be that hard to play, I’m not saying that I don’t like a challenge but it made me almost give up certain times.

I love this game so much, learning so much about cosmo and diving more into the story of Michelle and Christopher is amazing!! I only have a few problems, I am still playing the game and I can’t figure out how to get the last artifact for the spaceship. You guys should add more life’s to cosmos character and the response time for the banana and freeze gun should be faster. this game is amazing but it shouldn’t be that hard to play, I’m not saying that I don’t like a challenge but it made me almost give up certain times.

Movie tie-in games don’t have a great history. That said, Netflix seems to know what they’re doing. The original Stranger Things game brought great nostalgia and got me ready for the next season of the show. This game is even better. As a prequel to the movie, this games has great storytelling wrapped inside a fun, though short and easy, puzzle game. They are able to hit the nostalgia that Stranger Things did so well as well as creating a story that melds perfectly with the movie. Though the movie wasn’t perfect, this game helped me see it in a new light. I enjoyed both!The only reason I docked this a star was because it was a little on the simple side. I’d give it a 4.8 if I could, just can’t get it to the 5-star rating.
