Description
The Garden Gate is a place to play fan-made Pai Sho games online with others.
Play a variety of Pai Sho games, including:
- Skud Pai Sho
- Vagabond Pai Sho
- Capture Pai Sho
- Solitaire Pai Sho
Links to the rules for each game are available in the app.
When playing, tap a tile to see where it can be placed or moved on the board. The Help section gives details about the game you are playing and any tile you select to help you learn how to play.
Sign in to The Garden Gate to host games and join games with others. You can have as many games going at once as you like - all your games will be saved online and you can quickly see if it is your turn in any games. Play Pai Sho with friends whenever and wherever you are!
The game of Pai Sho as seen in Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra inspired fans to build these games as tributes to the series.

Updating app to re-enable online play and always be updated. You'll need to be connected to the internet for it to work, though, so don't update if you only use the app to play offline games. To get offline game support in the apps, support The Garden Gate on Patreon!

Awesome, but notifications don’t work
It’s great that there’s an app for this and it works well, except unfortunately notifications don’t occur when your opponent moves which would be nice if that worked. I’m on iOS I have the most recent version and notifications are enabled in my preferences.
The best
If you’re even considering getting this app, do it! Plenty of games and their very easy to learn. You can play against ai in most games, play against a random player, or even play against a friend. The app doesn’t crash and works very well, but if you turn on notifications it won’t really give you any notifications for games. Besides that, the app is very fun and ideal for people who like games that require strategy and planning. I fully recommend it to anyone thinking about getting it.
Amazing fun!
A lot of fun! Needs an update, but it’s very smooth! Tons of game modes to play, still plenty of active games, but the leaderboards still haven’t been implemented. No problem though, still so fun! A great way to learn Pai Sho, if you haven’t played before solitaire mode may be a good starting point before learning Skud.
