So cozy!

If you’ve ever enjoyed the Suspense or CBS radio hours, you will love this app! I hope the developers advertise for this more because this should be very popular. It’s super cozy to play when it’s storming outside or at night when you can’t sleep. You make choices by switching to different radio stations after a minute of listening to the story. I haven’t gotten very far but I believe your choices affect the outcome of the story. I haven’t been forced to purchase anything as of yet, nor watch annoying ads. And the voice actors couldn’t be more perfect. You feel like it’s a real show from the old days. Recommend highly!

Was Great Until Language Fouled it Up (Pun Intended)

This app is very well made. It is entertaining. It’s interesting, exciting, engaging, thrilling, and terribly frightening. My sister and I were listening/playing this app and thoroughly enjoying it until the F-word was spoken several times. As we had been thinking of sharing this with our mother and several other friends, we were saddened to hear this adult language in an app that is rated ages 9+. We suddenly lost all interest in the app, the captivating story, and premise of a haunted radio program. Really, this app is great for most people, but I wouldn’t recommend it for a 9 year old or anyone who, like me, has a religious opposition to foul language. As a lover of old time radio, and a lover of horror/adventure stories, I respectfully suggest to the producers of the app to do away with the foul language and thereby make this accessible to a broader audience of people who can listen/play without having to worry about explicit language being heard by themselves, their younger siblings, or older relatives.

Excellent!

I was introduced to this little game at PAX West in Seattle this weekend. After trying it for a few minutes and learning that it was available, I decided to give it a go for the full experience.

It’s an interesting model - listening to a story with “branching” choices, but it works! Add top-tier voice talent and hilarious writing, and this is a hidden gem that everyone should try. It only takes about an hour to finish the game - and is a great way to get some laughs and hear a pretty compelling story. Bravo!
