What happened to the ghost frames?
I really liked the original better. It was really user friendly and my art students could really do a lot. For example, the original app had the previous ghost pic so you knew how much to move your figures. It made so much sense! Why did you get rid of it? Also, there is no main menu. You open the app and go straight into work mode. Am I even able to save an unfinished movie and go back later to work on it? I also could only do a 60 second video. The music, sound effects, and animations are a neat feature but I feel like cutting out the other options was a real downer. Now I feel like I have to use a different app to teach stop motion to my students bc of the limited movie length and ghost frames. Please bring it back! Oh, and my example I worked so hard on disappeared bc the app shut down on me. There would be too many frustrated kiddos I think if I use the app now. I’m probably going to have to use stop motion studio.

Wow, it's great to hear that you use our app to teach students about stop motion 😊 Don't worry about the ghost frames, we didn't let that feature disappear like ghosts, they’re actually available in the newest update of the app. We also tried to keep our app simple, so even the smallest directors can just dive in and start creating their little masterpieces, but we do understand that having a menu would be helpful and being able to create longer blockbusters would definitely be great. We want our fans to have great experiences with our app, so we are sorry to hear that the app crashed on you, that must be frustrating. Please try reinstalling the app that usually fixes issues like this. We really value our fans’ feedback, because we can only get better by listening to them. That's why I have passed on all your suggestions to our developers. Thank you again for taking the time to give us your feedback - Gabriela, LEGO Customer Service
I liked the old one better.
When I was done updating the app I was exited to see what new features had been added. I opened the app and was delighted to see that you could add videos to the stop motion. I made a movie and went into the editor. I was a little bit disappointed to see that a lot of the music was gone. I was fine with this because my favorite track was still in. I then went into the effects and was surprised to see the new features. I moved on and was sad that there weren’t any filters or stickers anymore. I then finished and submitted my work. After about an hour my film was almost done. The app then crashed and all my effort was wasted. I was kind of disappointed in the quality of the new, and, what was once a great app, was ruined by the new update.

Impossible to save videos
My daughter loves playing around with this app, but it is impossible to actually save the videos. I have spent a week now tapping on one video at a time to go through moderation so that I can save it to my hard drive. It says it should only take a few minutes to be approved. Each time, the “waiting for approval” animation spins for over an hour. About a third of the time, the video actually gets approved, the rest of the time nothing ever happens, even for multiple hours. The first time I tried it, I spent the entire evening waiting for each video to go through moderation. I wasn’t going to save them until they were all through moderation. I checked in the morning, and all of them had lost their approval and needed to go through moderation again!
Today, one video was rejected because it included a couple seconds video of our front yard (just some trees and street lights). The process to attempt to save a video is too time consuming and frustrating.
Developer Response ,
This isn't the experience we want LEGO fans to have at all! Moderation in the app is to make sure it's safe and fun for everyone. Sometimes it might take a bit longer, but if this happens too often, it's likely a little bug. If you don't mind losing your content saved on app, please uninstall and reinstall the app. This will fix all bugs. 😃 We want all LEGO fans to love our apps, thank you for your feedback! ✨ -Luigi, LEGO Customer Service
