  • Clunky App

    The app is clunky. I set up my profile, but didn’t add my address or shipping address upon going directly to check out. It prompted me to enter this information which I attempted however it wouldn’t recognize the state thus not allowing me to proceed forward. I then went into my profile, added my billing and shipping address and it seemed to work then but upon attempting to add a credit card again, the screen glitched and would not allow me to set this up. It was not a Wi-Fi issue or a phone issue. It was absolutely the application.

    This app is fairly well constructed and beautifully designed, however there are some minor flaws that the developer should take into consideration.Customers don’t like logging in every time they re-open the app especially if they only temporarily closed it to go to a text and come back finding they have to login again. One payment is accepted, VIP points should be automatically added and reflect the current balance.Lastly I enjoy the store locator and the apparel and the idea behind the brand. Never Stop Exploring, it should be something the company follows as well. Ideally the customer wants more than the nice clothes, they want to achieve their dream destinations and explore. If there is any chance that could happen, I think the app would be significantly improved. Thanks again for providing a wonderful product.

    I’ve been a TNF customer for 20+ years and have profound respect for their company philosophy, customer service, and products. I highly recommend them. Their iPhone app, however, is not up to their standards: 1) t’s a bit glitchy - the page you’re viewing refreshes constantly which makes it difficult to make a selection; 2) the search function should be separated into two sections - 90+% match with search terms and any hit less than that, because the search results typically number 35+ hits that are seemingly randomly oriented which make it unwieldy to find what you’re interested in; 3) they give you the option of selecting favorite items via the heart symbol, but I could find no way to view just your selected items which makes that feature worthless.

    Why should I have to provide my information to customer support more than once? I’ve already shared all the necessary details, yet every assistant keeps asking for my first and last name, and email. Is this a joke, or do your workers not have access to the full chat history?This approach is frustrating and makes people angry. It should work like this:“Hi [Customer’s Name], thank you for reaching out! I see you need help with [specific issue the virtual assistant couldn’t resolve]. Let me assist you further.”Your support team should have access to all the information provided by the client already.Your brand stands for good quality, but your IT department and customer service processes are severely lacking.Update: After waiting for an hour following a “one moment” message from support, I asked, “How much more time do you need?” Only to get the response, “Unfortunately, I do not have an answer on that topic.” Then, the virtual assistant started repeating the same cycle all over again.On top of that, this all started because I couldn’t even use the rewards that were credited to my account. They exist on my account, but neither the store staff offered to apply them at checkout (other brands do this automatically), nor did the app allow me to use them. The rewards simply don’t show up during checkout.What’s the point of having these rewards if, instead of providing satisfaction, they only cause irritation?It’s clear that this brand and I are not compatible. I wouldn’t be surprised if this message never reaches management and is only read by the same clueless developers.

    I have always loved the north face and the app is just another reason. I absolutely love the quality of the tent I just bought. I wish I would have known about the points and checking in could have gotten me s bunch of points but the cashier never said s word about it. U think u guys could just hook me up with half of the points at least? I bought a talus 2 tent and s rain protector for my bag and I also could have checked in I spend well over $250 plus I could have checked in at the galleria in Houston but didn't have a clue. I live in Alexandria, La so it's not real easy to just go to that store. Please help u guys I deserve these points as much as I buy from u guys. Keep up the good work.
