The Proov app guides you through when to use a Proov test, helps you read your test results (positive or negative), and gives overall guidance on what they mean. Unlike other cycle tracking apps, the Proov app allows you to track and chart progesterone and LH - the perfect fertility tracking pair to get you closer to pregnancy.

Limited charting

I’m new with Proov. It’s confusing... I learned that I needed to purchase a BBT to track my temperature. Maybe, Proov can mention on their videos that BBT and/or LP strips are need? That would help the newbies.

It would also be nice for the app to allow BBT recording as well.

Also - when charting my cervical mucus, sex, etc... the app does not seem to be working. Even when I submit it, it does not save my responses accurately or it won’t even save my responses at all.

Could be great

I love that Proov exists as an option to help confirm ovulation at home, but this app needs some work. There are typos which immediately makes me lose faith in an app. I can only ever log my tests with the gallery method (which takes longer) because the camera method doesn’t work. The charting section is all or nothing and then it doesn’t even save it correctly most of the time. It’s pretty frustrating and the only use it has is recording my Proov tests for later. The chart doesn’t line up when you try to look at past information. I actually use 4 different fertility apps at the moment, (because that’s the only way to get all the functionality I need for TTC at this point) and this one is the most faulty. I’d really like there to be one app to rule them all, and Proov could be that if it worked, but currently, it’s just not there yet.

Useless software programming

I have PCOS and as such I have highly irregular cycles. I wanted to chart my progesterone as a way to better understand my PCOS in order to improve it and conceive. This app has zero flexibility when it comes to updating your cycle length. It assumes you are 100% regular all the time or can predict how long your cycle will be every time. If you go over your projected cycle length for your current cycle, you can’t edit it and update it. There is very little editing or modifying you can do. Unless you are always 100% regular every time in your cycle, I would not recommend this app. But if that is the case, I highly doubt you are needing to chart your progesterone and shouldn’t need this app anyways. Therefore, I don’t see who this app would benefit.
