Your vacation and road trip just got better because you are going to connect with your moving landscape of history.

Listen to stories about WHAT HAPPENED HERE throughout America, Anywhere You Go. Every story in our library of over 175,000 stories are family rated. Select from 10 categories the type of stories you are interested in or select all of them. For your driving safety, you will listen to our stories from our library of over 175,000 stories (and growing daily).

When you are near a place where a significant event occurred, you can listen to a professionally prepared short story about the event. If you are driving on any interstate highway in America, you will hear the history of any town you are near. And you can listen to what is written on roadside historical markers when you are within 2 miles of the marker.

And, you can tour the National Parks as well. We are constantly adding more visitor points and interesting history stories to our National Parks Library, which currently includes Yellowstone National Park, The Grand Canyon, Yosemite National Park, Great Smoky Mountains, Rocky Mountain National Park, Grand Teton National Park, Acadia National Park, Olympic National Park, Zion National Park, Big Bend National Park.

Thinking about hiking down into the Grand Canyon? Listen to the first-person narrative from one person who did it. Listen to the diaries of some of the pioneers who ventured across America in wagon trains. You will discover how difficult life was to the early pioneers. Many of our stories are narrated in the first-person style. American Revolution, Civil War, you got them all. Indian battles and attacks? You have them all.

Want a tour of major cities? Historical buildings and events are being added constantly to help you connect with preserved structures and popular places. You can even select walking tours.

Want a walking tour of major cities? You can follow our guide for a walking tour of some of our major cities.

You will hear Breaking News stories that would have existed if radio or television had existed then.

You will hear exactly what is written on the Historical Roadside Markers 2 miles before you get to them.

You will hear announcements of Local Events going on nearby that we are aware of.

You will hear Surprise Stories when you least expect them. These stories are created to inspire your imagination.

See maps of all conveniences near you. Fuel, Food, Sleep, local Events etc. And a Map of exactly where you are….

Never get lost. You just hit the where am I button to see a detailed map of exactly where you are.

And, you can use the comments button for anything you think we need to add, anytime, anywhere.

The Road Channel takes you back in time to the events that changed America.

Asks for your info then doesn’t work

Trying to register for access is useless because it gives an error message after submitting. Waste of time and potentially just gave my email to a shady operator.

Very useful and entertaining app

This application, with permission, will track your location and tell you stories about the area you're driving through. As your location changes, so to do the stories change.

In addition to that, it shows you what is around you. Not only physically in terms of roads and maps and such, but also gives you insight on nearby entertainment, restaurants, restrooms, etc.

So this app can entertain you, help you to get where you're going, teach you a little something about local history, and provide helpful insight with respect to services that you might require in the area. It's very good and comes recommended!
