Description

In 1943, as World War II raged across the globe, the United States government secretly constructed a laboratory on a group of isolated mesas in northern New Mexico. The top-secret Manhattan Project had a single military purpose—develop the world’s first atomic weapons.
Discover the secret city of Los Alamos as it was during the height of the Manhattan Project. Walk in the footsteps of Robert Oppenheimer, General Leslie Groves, Enrico Fermi, Lilli Hornig, and Frances Dunne while you uncover the secrets of this isolated Laboratory, known as Project Y.
The town and important testing facilities of Los Alamos come to life with this new app. Walk through the recreated wartime town of Los Alamos. Tour the main campus of the Laboratory and explore vitally important remote test site like Gun Site, the birthplace of the uranium Little Boy weapon. You can also visit V-Site—where Manhattan Project researchers assembled the Trinity device.
You can even visit the Alamogordo Bombing Range on the plains of the Jornada del Muerto in south-central New Mexico to discover the site where scientists detonated the world’s first atomic device. See the site of the Trinity Test and visit the significant locations that shaped the world we live in today.
This app will walk you through a timeline of Los Alamos, from before the Manhattan Project and through the end of World War II. After visiting each unique location, you can collect tokens that unlock detailed information about the important people, places, and science of Project Y. Uncover the past and travel back in time as you see Los Alamos like you have never seen it before.

Life Changed

This is one of the best apps I have ever downloaded. Truly life-changing. My credit score went up 53 points, I got three straight wins in Fortnite, and I devoured Taco Bell and my bowels stayed pristine. I would highly recommend, I would give 5.0001 stars if I could. ❤️
