Pretty but flawed
I downloaded the lite version to see if the full book would be a suitable gift for my niece. The artwork is really nice and the music is decent, but the English text, while it’s obvious that the translators tried really hard, isn’t great. What’s worse, there is at least one error in the prologue (“sneaked”) and the narrator mispronounces some words (“enchanted”). Maybe the Polish version doesn’t have these issues but I wouldn’t be comfortable with my English speaking kid reading this.
Edit: I only just noticed now the description of the app says “fairy tail”. This “fale” really speaks for itself. They need to hire a native speaker if they’re serious about the English version.
