Greatly expands Web theme options
The application works as advertised, and expands the range of options for Aperture Web themes. Note that this is an application from which you can add themes to Aperture, not a “plugin” to Aperture. This little fact caught me at first, but the developer responded to my inquiry within 12 hours and I was on my way. Also, be sure and read the support FAQ on the developer’s support site -particularly the note about permisions in the WebThemes folder.
The only downside, that I can find, to Themes for Aperture is that you are stuck with the choices (fonts, colors, etc) of the theme designer, unless you want to tweak the html and css files. This is a limitation of Aperture, not Themes for Aperture. If you want to expand your options for Web Journals and Web Pages from Aperture, this application does the trick.
Beautiful Addition to Aperture
I don’t know what the beef is about Themes. It works flawlessy for me. If you follow the instructions and make sure you meet the Aperture version requirements, it works without a hitch to add more designs to your “web page” or "web journal."
Bought it, installed it. The themes won't save to Aperture. Saw lots of posts on Internet with similar problems and impossible fixes.
Emailed publisher. No response.
Fortunately, Apple refunded my money.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
