TheraCentric ١٢+

As a clinician in an outpatient physical therapy office, there is nothing more annoying than wasting time searching for exercises and fumbling with printouts. My time would be much better spent hands on or face to face with a patient. This app is so quick and efficient in the clinic. I don’t have to deal with a lengthy log in process and there are so many less steps to adding exercises to my patient’s personal account. The option to take a video of my patient or myself completing an exercise is also really easy and it allows me to add audio cues in case my patient needs to remember something more specific about the exercise. On the patient side, they get to select days and times of the week to receive a text message reminder to complete their exercises. Plus it has awesome visuals for counting sets, reps and tempo. The easier it is for a patient to be compliant with their HEP the faster they will recover, so that’s a win for both of us!

TheraCentric is a very easy to use app and has been an extremely helpful tool for my current PT experience. In the past, my PT’s would write down my exercises on a piece of paper. I’d have to jog my memory about correct form and keep track of all of the papers. With this app, I have access to all of my assigned exercises with videos and instructions right on my phone. It has been a game changer for me and I’ve noticed I’m much more consistent in doing my exercises. Just an added bonus, the little stickers and puns are adorable and they’re a great reminder to keep things light

I use to have to refer back to exercise printouts that I got from my PT. I use to lose them all of the time and forgot to do them and how to do them a lot of the time as well. This app is how modern PT should be as it makes it so much easier and clearer to have everything in one place and to be able to look up videos on how to do the exercises right within the app! For technology lovers this will make adhering to your PT routine light years easier than before.

As a former collegiate athlete with experience going through PT, I HIGHLY recommend bringing this to your Therapist and getting them on board with the app as well.
