By using the raw data from the Flir ONE thermal camera, Thermal Camera+ can enhance the image to a very sharp, detailed and large image, while at the same time giving a lot of control into your hands.
VERY IMPORTANT: The app only works with the external (Lightning) Flir ONE thermal camera and doesn't transform your phone into one.
• Switch between combined or separated thermal and real color image (MSX on/off)
• Have the full Lepton sensor resolution with less noise and larger field of view (Gen. 2: 160x120 pixels)
• Have more colorful palettes to choose from
• Manually adjust and lock the temperature range
• Have manual and very easy control over the gamma value of the image
• See live what your highest and lowest temperature is
• Always have the palette in your view
• Choose between more professional temperature units like Kelvin or Rankine

!! PLEASE NOTE: For a good MSX overlay, edit the MSX zoom factor in the settings for your camera individually (see manual).

Ratings and Reviews
The app is not compatible with iOS 11.2 and yet the developer has not taken the steps to prevent inadvertent downloads to incompatible devices / operating systems.
A pity since it would have been nice to see how it compares to the current FLIR one app and tools. Given that those apps actually work, have been updated, and that they are free, I’d give this app a pass.
Very Good Work
I really appreciate all the features of this app! I've owned a FLIR ONE (first gen) for years now, and this app makes it feel so much clearer and crisper than the other apps I've tried (including the official FLIR ONE app), and having the Inverted Grey and IronGrey palettes, as well as being able to disable MSX, are SO nice!
I do have one feature suggestion though: I'd love to be able to manually change the upper and lower limits of the palette (if possible). I love being able to shift the palette up or down to emphasize higher or lower heat patterns, but if I want to isolate a heat pattern somewhere in the middle of the temperature limits, I can't seem to do that (unless I'm missing something :) ).
But again, amazing job with the app so far! Very well done!
cool companion to the stock flir app
I was pretty impressed with this app, I will probably use it whenever I need a snap thermal photos. I would pay double or even $10 if this app supported video (a feature I would really like to see is video with a picture in picture / small overlay of the non thermal camera view).
I had no issues with the app on iOS 12.2 (Works great)
The main feature this app brings to the table is the ability to easily turn off the non-thermal camera overlay, and the thermal pictures do look a tad higher resolution. Thanks
