BEST PRACTICE TIPS

- While recording your affirmations, mean it!
- Play your affirmations in a loop for 5 minutes, at least once a day before going to sleep. Morning practice is recommended as well for daily motivation
- Listen to the same set of affirmations for at least 21 days. Repetition makes all the difference!

I began soul searching and read several self help books that helped me identify my weaknesses and problem areas. Since I'm entering a challenging period of my life, I'm demanding more from myself than I ever had before. I selected a few of the avail aspirations, but mostly made my own.
The first time I fell asleep to my customized aspiration soundtrack, I was really impressed. I woke up feeling positive and happy. Now I use this app daily when I have to do a lot of reading and writing. I should probably mention I have ADHD, so this app really helps give me the white noise and drowned out environmental distraction. When I'm working (reading and writing papers), I play this app at the same time as another one called Forest. If you have similar work demands and/or ADHD interference, I highly recommend pairing these two together. The other app tracks work time and converts it into social impact (it will plant real trees with your accumulated points). Anyway, I've recommended ThinkUp to 3 of my closest friends and I use it every day. Everyone has inner obstacles to overcome and everyone wants to achieve their own definitions of success. Find what works and stick to it. Make it happen!
Be patient with this
A lot of my affirmations didn’t start manifesting for several months, most of them not for 8+ months. So I could have easily given up on this app, but somehow I knew things were changing on a subliminal level and that my outer world would eventually catch up. And it did in “miraculous” ways. Example, one of my affirmations was about how clean and tidy I am (cue laughter from anyone who knows me and my huge struggle with clutter and disorganization). After several months of daily affirmations I felt like I was just “magically” having an easier time keeping my home and office tidy, something that has been a lifelong struggle for me. Now you could say that this wasn’t magic, it was my increased awareness that brought about me coming up with new sustainable systems that actually worked for me. But the magical part was how natural and relatively easy these changes felt, though they had previously been a constant source of doubt and struggle. Too many other examples to cite here, but it also helped with my relationship with self and others.
Healing mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually
Many years ago I came across Louise Hays book You Can Heal Your Life, I decided that I was going to record all the affirmations in that book and listen to them when I went to sleep at night and when I woke up and n the morning. The first time I heard my own voice, it was very uncomfortable, however after doing this for 3 months, I had a major physical healing! These were on cassettes and I don't even have a player any more! A friend shared this app with me last month, I paid immediately and got my affirmations recorded and listen to them at night as I drift off to sleep
And they are still the laying when I wake up in the morning! I love this and I thank u from my heart to yours for coming up with this idea and impacting the world! As an Interfaith Minister and Life Coach, I have to stay on top of my own "stuff" so I can walk my talk and be present for those I am serving.
