"This Date in History" delivers fascinating daily events in U.S. history every day of the year. See essential events on your birthday, holidays, or even an ordinary day like today!

This app gives users the ability to know what happened a day like today in the history of the United States. Every day, the app dynamically retrieves the corresponding milestones for that day. The user can also browse through all the different milestones in our database using the milestones’ browser.

Thanks for downloading the new updated "This Date in History" 2.2.3, in this version we bring you some new features and fixes like:
1. New vertical scrolling of the milestones for ease of use.
2. New display of milestones.
3. Added a background shadow to the milestones.
4. Fixed an issue where the milestone text wouldn't show up entirely.

Very organized app

This app is a great reference source and it is very organized. It helps you to know what happen today in the history of the US. I have the ability to learn about historical milestones for a day like today or the next 5 days. I also can send my own milestones so the staff can review it and put it into the app. Good work!!

Not bad but...

I enjoyed reading about the milestones for the current date. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to allow you to put in a date of your choosing and see what happened on that day. Seems very strange to me that you can't do that. I'd rate this higher if I could choose a date.

Latest update failure

I updated to the new version and the app stopped working, a blank page now shows up ....
