I have never done one of these programs and was excited to not have to figure out what to eat for the week. Knowing that I was going to be getting my food this week, I didn’t have to go grocery shopping. Well, off to the store I go. Got a text outside the delivery window that it was on its way and then another text that it was delivered. Opened my door. Nothing. Checked all my neighbors doors, nothing. I sent an email stating the issue and got a generated email that someone would get back to me in 24 hours. Ummmm okay. I replied to just cancel and refund me and they were quick to cancel my account no apology or explanation. Guess I’ll try the next app among the many that bombard my Instagram.

This food makes me happy and healthy
I've been using this food delivery service for 8 or 9 months now, so I figured I should write a review so that it doesn't go away;) It is a fantastic way to have a ready to eat, healthy meal waiting for me in my fridge when I get home from work. I also don't know how to cook good tasting vegetables/vegetarian meals, so this way, I eat a lot healthier. It's cheaper than going to a vegetarian/vegan restaurant. Also, I'm gluten-free/Celiac, and I've never had any problems. If there are ever any delivery issues, the company always responds to me right away and credits my account. I get the food on my doorstep in the morning before work twice a week, put it in my fridge, then heat one meal up in a pan after work. I can literally have a fancy, healthy, hot meal five minutes from arriving home. I seriously love Thistle and am always excited to see what my next meal will be! They've gotten really good at creating more and more new meals.
Beautiful, but so unintuitive.
The food is incredible as a whole, but the app’s user experience is rough.
To swap a meal is tricky at best. I opted for a juice over a breakfast option and then thought better of it, but there’s no way to undo this or swap out the juice. I’ve had this same issue trying to swap out a coffee drink moments later after making a selection by mistake.
There’s no place to contact customer service.
We are going away for a couple days and there’s no where on the app to pause your subscription.
The UI, while aesthetically beautiful, is *wholly* not user friendly.

Hi jen_sf! We just launched a new 'edit' feature that makes it easier to add and remove items from your orders via the Upcoming screen. In addition, you can now visit the 'Plan' tab to pause your subscription up to eight weeks in advance. Alternatively, you can skip individual deliveries from the Upcoming tab! We'd love it if you could give the app another try, and let us know what you think at firstname.lastname@example.org! Thanks for being a Thistle customer.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
