ThrowBack is a photography application that sends your past to your future present. It captures a photograph but does not save it to your phone. Instead the photo is thrown into the future and emailed back to you at a random time, anywhere from 1 month to 5 years from the date the photo was taken. In an era where our photographs are overexposed on countless sharing platforms, ThrowBack provides a unique opportunity to forget your memories so they can be remembered again.
You can further specify when you want to receive your ThrowBack, either as a complete surprise, in a date range, or on a specific day 1 month to 5 years into the future. You can also include a message and tag other email addresses to receive the ThrowBack on the same day as you.
This app has been updated by Apple to use the latest Apple signing certificate.

I wish there was a way where the other person doesn't get notified when you try to send them a picture. It kind of ruins the surprise.
Does exactly what it's supposed to!
I downloaded this app about a year ago, took a couple pictures, and ended up deleting the app and forgetting all about the pictures. I just received an email with a photo from a year ago and it was very touching. It was a picture of me and a girlfriend I'm no longer with but it was sweet to see nonetheless. Great idea for an app and it does what it is supposed to! Definitely surprised me today.
Amazing App!! Thank you..
I really love the idea of this app.. It helps much.. You can even use this app to send codes to the future that you wish not to know today..
Hi developers, please don't stop supporting the app so our pictures arrive in the future safe and sound.. :) I've already received two pictures, those with short term delivery sked.. I don't know off-coarse the 1year and up..
Thanks much developer..
