Such potential, but misses the key point for ADHD

This app should be a perfect fit for someone with executive function issues— it allows a person to create individual schedules with tasks broken down into steps, it gives the opportunity to create multiple reminders, and it has functionality that allows you to invite another person to support or manage your schedule. Unfortunately where it fails is pretty much on the most important point of reminders and checklists— the reminders pop up silently on your phone, with no audible sound or even a vibration. So unless you’re looking at your phone 24/7, you may as well have no checklist at all. Equally bad— it checks off the reminders automatically after the scheduled time has passed, not only removing the dopamine incentive that comes with checking something off your list, but also leaving people with short term memory issues unclear on whether they actually did or did not do a particular task. That said, this app has enormous potential, and I believe with some minor tweaks it could be the perfect partner for someone with ADHD. Selfishly, I hope the tweaks come sooner rather than later, because as another reviewer said, forgetting the cancel the trial just cost me (and my son, separately) $49 each for a year of something that is currently functionally useless to us both.

Developer Response ,

Seems as if you didn’t setup your schedule properly and didn’t reach out for any support before leaving us a bad review so it gives the wrong impression on our free neurodivergent support app.

Firstly, every setting in the app has an information icon which explains every feature in detail. Had they been spotted, this negative review would never have happened. We will increase the informational button size.

You didn’t need two subscription, Infact you didn’t need one at all to achieve your goals.

Notifications won’t make a sound if you silence your phone.

If you set an end time it will automatically complete which is normal behaviour in a calendar.

You missed the “complete anytime” option when creating an activity

Basically, you didn’t use the app correctly, you didn’t reach out for support and instead left an untrue review.

Please reach out to our team via live chat or the contact form on the site 24/7 to resolve your issues.

Good app/ just not for me

I like the free trial to test it out but don’t forget to cancel it on time like I did. It’s pretty easy to set up and use. I like the articles and mood tracker. The schedule works great too. I’m just not able to afford a new subscription due to the fact that I am disabled and social security is not enough to live on so I have to pinch every penny.
I tried to stay on a schedule but I found that it wasn’t working for me and I started to ignore the reminders. I couldn’t find a way to snooze or mark it uncompleted either. I like to check things off my list to see my progress when I’m done.
Thanks for letting me try your app and I appreciate what you’re doing to help neurodivergent folks like me.
I’m just not ready to do without my pencil and sticky notes yet.

Developer Response ,

Thank you for trying the app out.

We took your feedback on board and added some extra options to control which notifications go off from within the app and we also made it clearer to complete tasks early.

Many thanks

Want to like this app

I use google calendar for work and an integration would be super helpful. Right now to get use out of this app I would need to reenter all of my calendar appointments and tasks and then add more that are specific to the app.

Developer Response ,

We don't feel its fair we are being rated 3 stars in this instance. We have the integration, the problem is Google taking months to approve sensitive access to data. This app is directed at parents, carers and their children, its not made for the workplace.
