Dr McLa ,

Thunkable is easy and supports diverse ideas

I am not a computer scientist or developer by training. I am an engineering professor and I use Thunkable often. It is very easy to use and the concept of block coding resonates with students from 2nd grade to PhD (non CS) students. I deeply value the open source concept and I always promote Thunkable to others when appropriate

Hi Dr McLa, thank you for your kind comments and great feedback. We're happy to hear you've been seen block coding resonate with students from grade school to phD programs, and we appreciate your promotion of Thunkable to others. If there is anything we can do to make your experience on Thunkable even better, please don't hesitate to let us know at

At first, the app worked fine. I was able to test my apps well enough, although sometimes background images wouldn’t load, and I would have to close and reopen the app every time I wanted to refresh the app. But now I accidentally navigated to a “create a delay” tutorial screen and I simply cannot back out. I’ve restarted the app, deleted, and reinstalled it and still immediately navigates to this screen and it’s impossible to back out to my projects. Major shame. I’m on iPhone XR update 13.3.1 and I’ve heard this version doesn’t work well and I can believe it. This app needs a serious fix.

Hi there 👋 Sorry to hear you're having trouble live testing your app. Could you send a link to your project to so we can take a look? We'd love to get everything up to speed for you. We pushed out an update that fixed the problems emerging with the iOS 13 update, so it looks like this might be a separate issue. Thanks!

Some Features Unfinished or Bugged

So recently I have been using a data base to make an app on thunkable. I was using the lists variable and my goal was to list the specifc objects in the data base on the list. The problem is, the lists aren't showing the information and I have tried everything. Their docs don't help to much either.

I think that if they put a little more time in polishing their different variables when they released them, they would have a better user experience
