Thunkable is easy and supports diverse ideas

I am not a computer scientist or developer by training. I am an engineering professor and I use Thunkable often. It is very easy to use and the concept of block coding resonates with students from 2nd grade to PhD (non CS) students. I deeply value the open source concept and I always promote Thunkable to others when appropriate

Unlocking Potential

Thunkable Live has truly transformed my app development projects! The real-time preview feature has made the development process incredibly smooth, allowing me to see changes instantly. The added convenience of running the iPad version on my Mac is a game-changer, providing an all-in-one device experience. It's like having a coding wizard in my pocket! I highly recommend it for anyone diving into app development on the iPad.

Dysfunctional

At first, the app worked fine. I was able to test my apps well enough, although sometimes background images wouldn’t load, and I would have to close and reopen the app every time I wanted to refresh the app. But now I accidentally navigated to a “create a delay” tutorial screen and I simply cannot back out. I’ve restarted the app, deleted, and reinstalled it and still immediately navigates to this screen and it’s impossible to back out to my projects. Major shame. I’m on iPhone XR update 13.3.1 and I’ve heard this version doesn’t work well and I can believe it. This app needs a serious fix.
