Works, but beware!

The app itself is nice - it’s missing a lot of features (sharing, scrubbing, saving to categories, etc.), but it works well and is usable. The problem I had, though… once I logged in to my TikTok account on visionOS, I was unable to “like” videos on any other platform. Liking works on visionOS, but when I like a video on iPad, iPhone, or web it never shows up in my liked videos. That’s a huge pain. TikTok support took over a month to answer my initial ticket for it, and their response wasn’t even relevant. I’m six weeks into waiting on their response to my second support ticket.

Update 2: Developer should require their staff members to read English and take the time to read the posts before pasting the canned response. UPDATE: ha!! hysterical that developer feels an appropriate response to the other reviewers that have pointed out this very problem is to simply say "We'll be sure to share your suggestion with our team for consideration". They should just respond by saying "we have not read your review, nor do we plan to"Version 32.0.6 is completely broken!! Despite being located in the U.S. where TikTok is very much available and works fine on all other devices, Vision Pro users get the following message when opening the app: “TikTok for Apple Vision Pro isn’t available in your region yet”. Important to note the app worked fine prior to version 32.0.6, despite being a piece of garbage that lacked the basic ability to scrub through a video or even display a basic timeline.

I really like a fair bit about it, being able to open profiles and things while still watching video is really nice. My main issue is that it pauses sometimes for no reason, it doesn’t have the play button on the video so it’s not like I am mistakenly pausing it with a messed up click or something. I also find that sometimes with mouse support I can not drag the video up like I would expect.Overall I think everything works really well! The sign in process I was impressed with that iMessage put in my 2fa perfectly fine. It would be really cool to have an immersive mode where the lighting matches the video that is playing or something.
