***** "CREATIVE, SUBTLE, AND PRETTY - Timbuktu teaches kids lessons about growing up subtly, creatively, and beautifully. Music, words, video, and interaction make the experience varied and interesting. Morgan Ward ,

beautiful content but flawed user experience

The illustrations and animations are excellent. However, that with swiping and scrolling does an interactive experience make. It needs basic navigation. I felt trapped and frustrated that I couldn't easily return to the table of contents or skip to another section.

The audience for the content seems to range from very young to relatively mature. If a parent is going through this with a younger child the forced sequence may not be an issue till they want to get back to a favorite part. An older kid will not sit still for a single path through the experience. Should be easy to remedy.

Outstanding magazine for kids!

Lots of amazing stories, fun games, news and current events for children 7 to 11 years old! The characters are so much fun! It’s basically a group of kid-journalists going around the world to report news, great idea, beautiful design!

Timbuktu is the best Children Magazine of the World!

Timbuktu is fantastic! After trying out 50+ digital magazines and apps, I gotta say Timbuktu is the best app out there for kids. Stories are quirky, illustrations are stunning, and the price is spot-on! I wish I had something like this growing up!
