What an absolute waste

Rarely am I this excited to download an app one minute, and then equally as anxious to delete it forever the next. I mean, really? "Out of range"? That's like Google Maps saying you can't see the traffic in a certain area until you're within a few miles of it. On top of that, once you're in range, you have pay to see the content before even knowing if it's any good. Based on the few free samples, is legitimately questionable.

Take the free Lincoln Memorial tour for instance. While you look around, a goofy-sounding guy gives a meaningless play-by-play: "The eastern side of the building is open, while the western side is a marble wall... Lincoln can be seen sitting on a chair... He is also wearing a coat... One of his hands is in a fist, the other is clutching the armrest." I'm going to pay for this sort of content?

Could be so much more! What a shame.

Could be so much better

I’m a huge history nerd and came across this app and thought I found something that would let me actually experience some pivotal moments in history... Sadly that’s not the case. Not only is a good 75% at least of the tours unusable, the ones that are just give a description of the area and the video is just spinning nonstop. Not sure when content is being added or how long it can take because everything that says “coming soon” has been saying that for at least 2 years according to a friend who has this app installed.

Would really love to see some other areas added as part of the VR experience, like Egypt, Greece, Norway, etc.

My teens actually became excited about history!

We downloaded this app recently on a visit to D.C. Our teenage sons are not very excited about the monuments; however, adding this app and the virtual reality to their experience really brought it to life for them! We also plan to virtually "visit" some of the other locations around the world. Definitely worth downloading the extra content!!
