All the most frequent times teachers use are available as presets. Timer display size is maximized to see from a distance. More attractive and teacher-friendly than any other timer apps available.

Like the timers... Wish it did more

I'm a huge Kagan fan. I like the timers this app has, although they are basic, there are a variety including an interval timer which another reviewer said it didn't. I guess what I don't like is that when your screen goes to sleep so does the app... This could be fixed, but you would have to change your phone or iPad settings to keep your screen on longer. I would have liked to see more too for the money... With the software Timer Tools, which I also have, there are so many more options. Maybe an update is warranted?

Poorly Made- not worth the $2.99

First, I never take time to write reviews. I feel I have better things to do with my time. I am writing in hopes that Kagan will fix this app, or you will not waste your or you school district's money.
The app has the right basic elements for a timer for a teacher, but it lacks so many common app features, it is unlikely to be used. That is why you should not buy this app.
Everyone is right to complain about the blurry graphics. This is the first thing that should be fixed.
Next, it didn't run for me in the background. This is a deal breaker for me. Who doesn't multitask with their device?
And finally, (I could come up with more, but I have papers to grade) being able to have a few different sounds is important. I believe the sound should match the activity, not work against it. Harsh sounds stop work. Sometimes that is what I want my students to hear and do. Gentle sounds are more transitional, sending the message that "we will keep working but on the next task"he
Kagan, this app earns a "D" in my grade book for value. I expected an "A" for the price. The real price should be no more than a dollar. I would appreciate a fix or a refund.

Pretty good

It's a good little app that gets the job done. If you don't normally use an activity timer in your classroom, but want to, this app makes it supremely easy. My only complaint is that the app cannot be rotated, so my book-style iPad cover, which I would like to use as a stand, is not compatible with the app. In other words, if the app could be adjusted so it can be right-side-up when the iPad is turned to have the iPad button on the left, not just the right, that'd be superb, and give teachers the ability to set it and forget it.
