Descrição
Time’s Up! is a fun, visual timer that you’ll actually want to use. Whether it’s for you, your kids, or someone else, Time’s Up! will make counting down much more engaging.
Timers can be used at work and at home, whether you’re making sure you take a break or telling kids it’s bedtime. Timers exist everywhere, but none of them are fun and visually appealing — and that can be important when you’re dealing with kids big and small! Time’s Up! has the features you need to make time fun again!
Time’s Up! isn’t just for kids and workaholics, though. The possibilities are endless:
• Adults who need to set timers to stop them from working for too long without a break.
• Kids who don’t want to do their homework but can be convinced to work in smaller chunks.
• Setting reading or other activity timers before bed time.
• Helping bigger kids focus on an activity for a set amount of time.
• Setting timers for exercises — put Time’s Up! on your TV screen and turn a timer into the focal point for your exercise group.
• Anything that’s based on a specific amount of time!
What makes a timer fun? Time’s Up! has 5 fun styles to choose from, including:
• “Reveal” a photo from your Photo Library as the seconds tick down.
• “Pixelate” makes a photo more clear as a timer gets closer to completion.
• “Puzzle” breaks a photo into jigsaw puzzle pieces and then puts the pieces into their places as time progresses.
Alternatively, there are more traditional clock faces if you just want a simple timer. Timers can be customized with their own alert sound and color, too.
Other key features include:
• Option to always keep timer window on top of other windows, which is great when you need to focus on a task for a set amount of time. (Mac only)
• Sync your timers between iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV using iCloud.
• Get audio updates each minute or countdown the last 10 seconds.
• Guided Access to prevent kids from switching apps and changing timers, making sure only you have the power to control time. (iOS only)
• Airplay (iOS only) and tvOS support so you can put a timer up on a TV screen.
Time’s Up! is a free download with a simple one-time purchase that unlocks the ability to run an unlimited number of timers.

What’s the difference between “Time’s Up! — Visual Timer” and “Time’s Up! Timer (VPP)”?
You are looking at the free-to-download version of Time’s Up! that lets you try the app five times before upgrading via in-app purchase. “Time’s Up! Timer (VPP)” is the same app but available paid-upfront with no limits in the app itself. “Time’s Up! Timer (VPP)” exists so educators can purchase the app through Apple’s Volume Purchase Program (VPP) for Education.

Thanks for the help! One more improvement
A few weeks ago, I wrote a review for this app explaining that, although I like many aspects of this app and use it as an aid for my ADHD focus, I was frustrated by my inability to move the clock around the screen to the most convenient location. One of the developers responded with directions for how to change the settings so that I can now move around the timer clock at will! Thanks, much appreciated!
One more thing I'd like to tweak if possible: The clock can make a tik-tock sound if desired. But as a deaf person, the volume is too quiet to work well for me. Yes, I've already tried maximizing the volume on my computer and also maximizing the volume on my hearing aid as well. But when I do this, the ticking sound just barely tickles the edge of my hearing threshold, ONLY if I am really focused on trying to hear it! I realize it needs to be "quiet" to not become itself a distraction, and I imagine it's the perfect volume for many hearing people. But as a deaf person, I'd like to experiment with this as my main background sound (instead of music) particularly when trying to stay focused on incredibly tedious tasks when pretty much anything that isn't a bland ticking sound is likely to distract me. For me, the maximum volume needs to go higher. Is there a good fix for this? Or is this something that could be changed in a future update for the app? Thanks for any response!

Thanks for the feedback and kind words! You should be able to move the pop-out timer by clicking and dragging it. If that’s not working, could you try turning on “Always show window frame” in settings? Please also email me at adam@overdesigned.net and let me know which version of macOS you have. Thanks so much!
Great Timer for Classroom
I bought this to use in a classroom and like the many options that it offers. Here are my observations:
1. I love the fact that you can change the timer ending sound effect. The waves and twinkle are perfect to use with young kids.
2. I initally was put off by the fact that you have either a two minute or one hour option as a starting point. Of course you can drag the circle to choose different timer lengths but the visual representation of the time is not a complete circle at start. What I then discovered was that you can use the reveal picture option to suit my needs. I simply uploaded a blank white background. I did not want a distracting image but I know other might find it desirable. When you use a picture the visual timer starts as a complete circle based on whatever time you select initially.
3. Color options, audio options for announcing remaining time, voice options all put this app above others that I have used. It really is worth the money and the developer obviously has put in some time and effort to refine it.
4. My only wish is that you could set more than one timer at once. Other timer programs have that option but they come nowhere close to this app in terms of other features.
simple, intuitive
not a task tracking system, which I don’t need. just a circle with a moving wedge and a tiny digital clock off to the side. I’m a neurodivergent that hates using a digital clock to figure out how much time is passing, and hates visually registering where clock arms are on the face. this app gives me a 60 minute clock face on which a certain size wedge always represents a certain number of minutes no matter how much time I want to measure. other visual timers I tried use the full clock face to represent the amount of time being measured. so the size of the wedge varies with however much time I am measuring. having a consistent visual representation for the same amount of time helps me both track time as it’s passing and learn how much time something really takes. 😀
