Has potential

If I could only just precisely edit the time without the slider mechanic which is a bit buggy. Sometimes I forget to start and stop and trying to edit the mistake with the sliding is frustrating. Other than that I find it useful for tracking time data thank you!

Developer Response ,

Thanks a lot for your feedback! Will add a better way to edit the data with the next update!

Simple but Elegant

I found this app on accident when I was reading forums about self-care and daily habits and someone made this for time-tracking.. I love this app so far!!!! It’s very simple, there aren’t a lot of bells and whistles and random features or even much for editing, and yet it does exactly what I need and is very tidy and beautiful in doing so. It is fantastically fast to use and very visual, and extremely user-friendly and organic- very easy to figure out and intuitive.
I have ADHD so I do best with visual systems and things being hands-on, and I deal with a lot of the usual problems of the average person but amplified.. It feels much harder for me to conceptualizing time and it’s much easier for me to get sucked into a task without intending to- and I tend to operate by the flow of momentum so sometimes spend longer on something than I plan. Noticing the nuances of this over a longer period can be confusing and stressful, and noticing what areas need work is difficult because it constantly changes every day- and attempting to track something so chaotic takes more energy than it’s worth and most apps just leave me frustrated.
A lot of productivity apps are very cluttered and I don’t like using them because sometimes it feels like yet another thing I have to remember to do, and the tedium of entering in tasks and labeling them takes a long time and discourages me from being consistent.

I don’t usually write reviews but I was so impressed and I’m happy to support such a well-designed app done independently because I was super thrilled by how helpful it somehow is.

This app is amazing because all I have to do is type in a single word if I want and it automatically assigns a color and starts tracking. And to change it all I have to do is type in the next task and it assigns a new color and the timer begins again.
I allowed for notifications and so far it appears that the notifications are simple and actually helpful- at the first 15 minute mark I noticed a little blurb saying 15 minutes had passed/asking me if I was doing the same activity. I sometimes will doze off about turning off a timer or updating when I’m done so this was actually a useful function for me.

There didn’t appear to be an edit function aside from delete, but I was delighted to discover that I could tap a previous entry I had labeled as something else, label it the same name as a different activity I had already logged (ie, ‘work’) and it would automatically assign it the same color as the previous task of the same name and combine the time total on the bar graph. Extremely tidy and once again very intuitive!

Everything about this app seems designed to be non-invasive yet pleasing despite the utmost simplicity, and I really appreciate it because it makes it that much easier for me to use and make into a habit.
I look forward to seeing what else the developer does with this, although I hope it doesn’t change too much because it’s almost better with how straightforward it is- but I’m sure any polishing will turn out good and I’m happy I found it and plan to see how it goes if I try using it daily!
